I bought this remote as a second replacement. The first aftermarket remote I bought similar to this one was so poor performing that I threw it out. This remote has worked flawlessly, is responsive as expected, and has a better feel with the buttons than the original oem remote.I'd buy this one again.

We've had a couple of these now, two different TVs two different remotes, both working well. I really like this unit because it does not include the hot buttons for some of the smart services. I really hate those because I accidentally hit them all the time and wind up going away from what I'm watching to something I don't want to watch.As I said in the title it's very important that you actually pair this remote with your TV if it's going to be your primary remote. The pairing is a Bluetooth Link rather than an infrared link and will make the remote much more responsive. The remote will work out of the boxes and infrared remote and if you're going to use it as a second remote to one that's already paired then leaving an infrared mode. Samsung does not like to have two remotes paired at once.My only complaint is really very minor. There's a tiny bit of mold flash that shows up around the outside edge where the cover meets the main remote. Running a coin along that flash will smooth it off and make the remote less sharp in your hands.For the money this is a great deal. Even at twice the price it would still be a really good deal.

Great product at a great price! Looked at similar remotes and was planning to cut out the shortcut buttons - then I found this one. At first I thought it was not Bluetooth because I had to aim it to use it. I figured it had auto paired with the TV since all the functions worked. Then i did the manual pairing and I no longer need to be a marksman to control the tv. Like many other Samsung TV users I hate accidentally tapping the Netflix button or the like and then needing to back out of it. Very happy with this remote!

As soon as I put the batteries in, the remote worked without any programming, which was great. The one difference I noticed from my original Samsung remote is that the range on the replacement remote is limited. I have to be in the same room to use it. Overall, very satisfied with the replacement remote for the price.

Lost our series 8 remote, needed something to get us by until it shows up..numbers/PIN code entry did not work with any of the random remotes we already had for other tv devices. We tried this remote right out of the package, and most of the functions worked straight away. The pin/number button did not. I looked up our tv manual, the remote paired like magic by holding the Back and Play/Pause button simultaneously, and now the number button WORKS to enter PIN codes. YAY!

I've had two of these. They work, but the button presses just don't respond very well. Click once...nothing. Click again...I get three presses of movement. I picked up a friend's actual Samsung remote and thought, wow, is this what this is supposed to feel like?I will be hunting down the real Samsung remote now. This is cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Buttons stick and/or stop working completely. This is the 2nd one I've ordered as the first one was returned for the same reason. So annoying to watch a show and out of nowhere the remote turns the volume down to zero all on its own.

Over time and dogs and kids, the stock remote for my QN65 finally met its demise. Not willing to pay the exorbitant cost for an official Samsung replacement, I bought a replacement that was similar to this product. While it had high ratings as well, it did not live up to the hype. Unresponsive (took multiple tries to when pressing buttons) and features that didn’t work (had to continuously click to ff or rewind). It was so frustrating that it prompted me (with some nagging.. gentle suggesting from my wife) to find a replacement for that replacement. That led me to this product. I was dubious of the good reviews (fool me once) but took a chance and it paid off! This product works just as well as the original remote at a fraction of the cost! It’s the perfect replacement!
