Yamaha JR1 Junior-Size 3/4-Size Acoustic Guitar Bundle with Gig Bag, Tuner, Strap, Strings, Picks, Instructional DVD, and Austin Bazaar Polishing Cloth

This was purchased as a started guitar for a 9 year old. Overall I am very pleased with the quality of the guitar. It has a nice sound for the size and price point of the instrument. I checked out this guitar locally to see what I thought and I feel this one arrived in the same condition and quality as what I saw in the guitar shop. The fit and finish of the product are nice and the attention to the details on the guitar are good. For example, the frets are finished nicely and the nut is cut and set well. The wood of the body and neck show no irregularities or signs of poor workmanship. At first glance, it has all the appearances of a well made product. It also plays well, with the strings being an appropriate height from the fret board. It is easy to find cheap guitars with the strings a mile from the fret board which also detune when pressed. This guitar arrived with none of those issues.I am also pleased with the bag that came with the guitar. To be fair I had very low expectations, but the bag is actually very nice. It is Yamaha branded and is well padded and has nice pockets to keep the gear that goes along with guitar playing. It has a large pocket on the front of the bag where the body of the guitar that has some depth to it which is of good enough size to keep a song book. The long pocket on the bag that goes from the head of the guitar down the neck also has some nice depth to it which allows you to place bulkier things like the strap, tuner, etc. The bag has nice quality zippers and has backpack style straps that can be removed. Overall the bag is a great addition to this set and is a great quality bag.The other accessories that come with the set are good and solid. Nothing special but nothing I would consider out right junk. The tuner works well when clipped to the head stock, the strap is nice enough and the picks are a nice touch. I've never been a fan of string winders, but as far as what it is and how it's made it is good.Overall, I would say this is a great quality and value for a starter set or for a traveler/camp fire guitar. Would definitely buy another.

This is a Mother’s Day gift to myself during this 2020 Quarantine time in VA. I have been in love with guitars since I can remember. I have a Greg Bennet acoustic electric that I learned on but it needs work and a facelift. This my first 3/4 size guitar, which I love, so I can travel to my porch, backyard, kitchen, or even my bed where I plan to practice with the Fender lessons it came with. JustinGuitar on YouTube is a great teacher, too, and he now has an app. I love R&B too, so I’m watching JUNO too, she tours with Camila that sings Havana....also a GREAT teacher. So, I figure that I can become better at something since I’m an elementary teacher with a lot of time on my hands since schools are closed.Anyway, I plan to sand this guitar down and stain it (color is a bit too yellow for me) and spruce up the pic guard, add some fret decals, and just PLAY. It has a great tone (a little rattle, but that could just be my temporarily weak fingers) and expansive sound even without an amp. It is very lite weight, it’s a great size, has a strap that’s not even mentioned in the details, and the tuner is really cute. Can’t say enough about this guitar, really. Ordered on the 4th and delivered early...got it on the 8th!!! This guitar is a must-have for a newbie or someone just wanting a more portable guitar.

This is simply a wonderful deal and I could not be happier. I avoid writing reviews all together, but this is so great that I had to write something and give my praise to the seller and rave about the guitar and accessories.The guitar is fantastic for what I paid. I am super happy about it and for its size. The sound is not as big, but it is pretty good for a smaller guitar. I love that.The accessories are insane and really good for the price. The Uber is spot on and I paid more for another tuner that was not as good. The picks and straps are great, too. The extra strings and string tool are a nice touch for an already good deal.Needless to say the guitar case in with the strings jnderwound which is great to ensure not too much stress in the neck in changing temperatures during shipment.If you want a small mini type of guitar, then this is great. It plays well, the action is not bad, etc. There’s so much to say. Let me finish by saying that I highly recommend the guitar, the seller, and especially this deal.

The sunburst guitar was in pristine shape upon delivery. It looks to be the perfect size for our 7-year-old niece. We haven't given it to her yet, as it's before Christmas, but if I were a 7-year-old girl (and I'm not), I would love this guitar. The case is even better. It's a "gig bag" as they usually call it, but it's sturdy and has plenty of pockets to put strings and things in. I tuned it up and christened it with a little Led Zeppelin. Plays great. It's got a tinier sound than my Taylor guitar, but then again, it is a junior-sized guitar. I wasn't expecting a booming sound from it like a normal guitar, but the quality and playability of this Yamaha is evident just by looking at it. The action is low where she will play most of the chords, so it seems like it will be better for learner's fingers. I debated between a much cheaper nylon-stringed guitar versus something more substantial, but I'm glad I chose this one. Even if she doesn't play it or like it, I'll play it!

The ordering process was easy as pie after I figured out which guitar I wanted!! I bought it as a Christmas present for my 10 yr old grandson. It arrived as promised and it is a beeeutiful guitar!! My grandson nearly flipped out over it and is sooo very happy with it. He practices/plays everyday!! The size is perfect for him and I highly recommend the guitar. Not only is it beautiful it also has vibrant rich sound!! The gig bag is really excellent for protection of the guitar, nothing skimpy about it, nice and padded. Thank you so much for the awesome instrument and perfect bundle to go with it!!
