Thule Wingbar Evo 118 (47”), Aluminum | Wingbar Evo Aero Load Bars 47" Silver - Quiet, Aerodynamic Roof Rack Accessories

I have a 2017 Kia Niro. I wanted to mount these bars so that I could carry the Thule Motion XT (Size Large) Cargo Box on my vehicle. To get these bars installed, I purchased the following:- Thule Fit Kit 186076 (for flush railings)- Thule Foot Pack 710601 (for Evo roof rack system to be mounted on flush railings)- Thule 47" WingBar Evo Load Bars 711220 (this page product)I also bought the Thule one-key system so that I could use one key for all the Thule items I bought (4x locks for the roof rack system and 2x locks for the cargo box). The installation directions take some time to figure out, but overall they aren't too bad. It took more time for me to research what roof rack system I needed for my vehicle, than it did for me to actually install it all.I love this roof rack system! It's well built, aerodynamic, doesn't affect the gas mileage, and it doesn't make any noise. I also really like that I have the option to take this roof rack system off my vehicle if I wanted to. Thule makes great products, but you definitely pay for it. The high price tag is the only downside, but when it comes to a roof rack system, I'd rather go for quality and be safe rather than be sorry.

These bars are amazing, and incredibly quiet! I haven’t noticed any whistling at all. Fantastic purchase

You have to hold these in your hand to really appreciate them. I got everything I needed in the box. The black bars looks great on my black car.

I purchased all my parts separately and saved over 100 dollars. These 47” bars work perfectly on my Cadillac ATS along with the Thule 480r and the 1786 fit kit. So if you have a Cadillac ATS you will need all 3 pieces along with locks if you want to lock them which I did. Btw There’s hardly any wind noise.

Installed these on my 2018 Subaru WRX STi. Fitment was perfect and this is a quality, well made product that I have no doubt will stand the test of time and work very well for hauling our two Kayaks. Instructions are not great but take your time, look up videos on youtube and you should be fine. Its the level of noise I expected I would have gotten if i had purchased the less expensive square bars.

Just as described, sturdy, easy to install, should hold up well since it's a THULE.

Perfect. Length just right. Not sticking to much outside rails. If this is what you're looking for then go with Thule recommended size.

Very little wind noise even on a highway and works beautifully with the Hullavator Lift assist by Thule

These bars are very well made and look great. Also, they are very quiet when driving on the highway. Easy to install and works better than I imagined.

Great bars. Fit easily look nice especially in black. I don’t think they will scratch easily. But mind out for Hermes. Or any delivery. 2 of the ends were slightly bent obviously been knocked about a bit either in warehouse or in delivery. This was not obvious on delivery until I took them out and tried to fit the end caps. Very nearly contacted amazon to complain. I managed with a hammer to hit the end bits in. This could cause issues later if I need them out but at the time didn’t have time to send back as needed to use them.

Mounted a big rooftop basket on these and loaded up. The deflection was minimal, meaning these bars are very strong. These are top of the line Wingbar Evo.They do take some assembly, but the instructions are pretty clear.Minimal wind noise from the bars. I can definitely hear other things, but not the bars.
