The product functions kind of as advertised, it was shipped to me not in the tasteful packaging for a beard-centric hair straightener that is shown on Amazon, but rather in a bright turqouise (and open..) package which only had "WHAT DO LADY WANT??" printed on it, along with a stock photo of a woman with hair flowing behind her. This would not concern me, if it not for the fact that the hard plastic "bristles" on this brush are so long that only the longest parts of my beard can even start to be straightened, meaning that where I keep it longer this product can be used... but my beard hair was already relatively straight where it was long. I bought this product to use on the cheek and jawline where I trim my frizzy beard shorter, hoping to tame it so it doesn't stick out without me having to grow a santa claus beard and hope gravity does the trick same as my chin.I'm rating it 3 stars because it is clearly NOT designed for a beard, which is what I intended to purchase. I would have rated it lower, but frankly the instructions gave me such a laugh to read I had to up it a notch.My favorite quote from said instructions: "This manual tries to keep the accuracy and rigor of the information, please in kind prevail if there is any error on images or tests, welcome to point it out for improving."It does not provide contact information.

Yes, a curly beard is very much a '1st world problem', although if you do have a need to tame your man mane, then for the price, you can't go wrong.My Beard is very thick and very curly. It takes me a while to straighten my beard, so I am always looking for an easy quick way. And this is definitely it! Not only does it straighten my beard, it brushes it out also, making it extra soft! It was super quick and easy and I like that it straightened my beard. It feels nice and sturdy in the hand and you can watch the temperature on the digital display as it very quickly heats up. If you are on the fence about one, buy it! You won’t be sorry.

Overall this product does what it says it will. I tried it on my brother in law's beard first. He has a long, course beard and when set to 190 degrees it did smooth his beard, but not straighten like a flat iron might. He said that the brush was somewhat awkward feeling because the "bristles" are not soft at all.Next my sister wanted to try it on her hair. We were able to straighten her hair very well. I would say that this brush works best on less course hair.Pros : It did heat up quickly. Was easy to use. Did not feel like I would burn myself. Easy to clean.Cons : Only gets to 190° (which isn't really hot enough for course hair). Hard to get the tiny hairs smooth. Very stiff bristles.

I got this for my husband and he absolutely loves it! We have purchased one before that was just flat without the actual prongs to straighten the beard hair. I would certainly suggest putting oils and conditioner in your beard if you use it, because the heat will dry it out. But it works great!

I can’t say I’m super excited about this product. Did it straighten my beard? Yes. Did it take longer than expected? Yes. Does it work on my head hair? No. Did I buy it for that? No. So all in all it worked but I doubt think I will use it that often because Like to get ready quickly.

Purchased this beard straightener as a gift for a friend . Good product at a fair price. Straightener is lightweight and very simple to use . Has three programmed temperature settings and only takes about 30 seconds to reached desired temperature ; making this product easy to use on the go or in a rush . Bristles and bristle pattern cause no snags or pulls in beard hair . My friend thoroughly enjoyed this gift.

I got this for my boyfriend and thought it would be fun to see if we could style his beard. His beard is VERY thick. It was difficult to really even get the brush prongs into and through it. May work for someone with thinner facial hair.
