For the day trips fishing this is perfect. It held ice for over 24 hours and while I haven't exactly been bashing it around or anything the rod holders are holding up nicely

Bought this to use on my L2 Fish paddle board while fishing. Its lightweight and very high quality. The only problem I have is the rod holder placement being on the sides of cooler and no option to put them on the back. I have a 30 QT cooler and there isn’t much shoulder room when using it to sit on when i have 2 or 3 rods. I feel very closed in and makes it difficult to paddle while sitting on the cooler. I am a big dude though, 6’2” 230. The other big problem with the rods being on the sides is you easily hit your rods with your paddle handle when you are sitting on the cooler paddling... when I switch hands the top part of my paddle hits my rods. If Engel was smart, they would At least put the rod holder brackets on the back of the cooler as well. Being able to Have a couple rods behind me and not to each side of me would solve both issues and make this a 5 star product for sure.

Look it not to big keep thing dry and I can used it for fishing

I realize it’s called a dry box cooler but the insulation is horrible. You can see the light pass thru the corners ( zero insulation) and sides. The hinges have a steel pin through cheep plastic. It won’t take long for them to break. I put a freezer pack, and 5 bottles of room temp water. The following day, the freezer pack was as warm as the water bottles. Will see how it holds up in my kayak fishing trips.

I needed something lightweight and relatively robust for fishing and camping. We have a yeti but once you put ice in it it weighs as much as a vw. This cooler has been great for packing a smal lunch, some bait, and a few waters/beers to go fishing and holds ice long enough to keep it all cold until heading home. I’ve left it in the back of my truck with beer and ice and it kept ice for about 2 days before it was all melted but even by the fourth day the water was still cold enough to keep the beer refreshing.

I use the box on the back of my WaterMaster to hold all my valuables while on the river. The rod holders could be slightly bigger for fly rods but work ok none the less.

Perfect for paddleboarding or canoeing. I took it on a 4 day portage in Algonquin and tested the buoyancy and water tight seal. It held up no problem while being full of my gear. Would definitely recommend for any outdoor enthusiast. It's honestly better than any dry bag that I have as it floats and can be used as a seat. Will purchase again If i have to years down the road.

Excelente nevera, buena calidad pero cuiden mucho las bisagras que están hechas para durar poco ya que son de plástico y la tapa no trae tensor por lo que si sueltan la tapa las bisagras van a soportar ese sobre esfuerzo.Es bueno instalarle un tensor o tener bisagras de repuesto.
