Works perfectly for our needs. We have it on a back patio at the apartment and it's gives privacy from the neighbors' patio but looks clean and neat and not really obnoxious. Cannot see through it. It does need to be screwed into place so make sure you are allowed to drill into the siding of your place and the floor of the porch.

We bought two of these to go across our garage doorway so we could leave the overhead door open for a walkway but shade our cars. It's been a perfect solution for us!

Product is sagging in the middle.

I am using this to block my carport opening because my carport is mostly used for storage and it does its job.It looks like some of the material may fade out over time from weather but overall this is pretty neat and it makes things look alot better!

My husband just installed. Not any written instruction, just diagram, but he seemed to do it fairly easily. The screen is very nice, a dark color, and we are using for privacy at a hot tub. I am contacting the company via email as the Amazon contact is not working, so it's through the company.com site itself. The PROBLEM why I am initially giving 4 star is that the TENSION is extremely hard, especially for a woman, to pull all the way open and hook while trying to still have the strength to hold on to the awning and also same thing when unhooking and closing back. I have emailed the company, in China, to ask if there is a way to reduce the tension some. Maybe as time goes on, it will get easier and I will update my review when I hear from the company or tension gets easier. It says on Amazon site to not leave the curtain open when not in use, so you should be unhooking and returning to wall

The item arrived dented & scratched in several places although the box was fine.

We bought 3 of these to use as a wind break/privacy wall around our hot tub. When we took them out of the box, none of them retracted! The only instructions had pictures showing how to install it. My husband took the end off one of them and discovered the spring had been disengaged on all 3. He re-engaged and rewound the screen, and then it worked great. It is a very strong spring and holds wonderfully.I would have given it 5 stars if there had been some kind of instructions saying the spring was disengaged. If my husband hadn't checked it out, I would have sent them back! Overall, a great product!
