Our sink didn’t have a garbage disposal which was a real problem. Food could clot the drain very easily, so we had to pick it up and then throw it into the trash. We decided that it was time for a garbage disposal. We got this one and it’s perfect. I installed it quickly and with ease. The disposal works quite nicely, it only makes a hum when turned on, and destroys all food waste put in its path. The quality is great, and we are very happy with our purchase.

First one did not work at all. Motor shot. Replacement one that was send would turn on but won't grind any food. It just sat in the bottom of the disposal. It was received by AMAZON on 4/29/2020 but we still have not seen REFUND.

My old garbage disposal went rusty so I bought this one as one of my friend recommended. It was not hard to install if you watch some YouTube DIY videos. My old garbage disposal was so noisy and often scared my grandchildren, lol, but this one is quiet smooth, quiet, but very powerful. BTW, it has large capacity and with this price it is inexpensive when I compard with other garbage disposals with the same capacity.

Replaced my old garage disposal. Everything went well until the air switch. The installer had never seen an air switch on a garbage disposal. This resulted in having to cut a whole in the sink and have an electric cord dangle under the sink. This was not mentioned in the details before purchasing.

Only after installation I noticed that the splash guard depicted as part B on the manual was missing. I contacted Amazon to get it, they said they were sending me a whole new device for free (thumbs up, Amazon!), which they did. But the second one came missing the splash guard as well. Trust me, you don't want to operate it without the splash guard (dangerous and makes a mess). So I went to an Ace Hardware store to get an universal one. But I had to trim the edges of it because the diameter of the universal is slightly wider. I would give it one star for that, but since it's powerful and very quiet, I give it a second star. I would give five if there were no issue with missing parts.

Let me be clear: speed & low sound sold me this unit. I do not need air gap, and my husband finally called the plumber to install. Let me spell out the best ways to have this machine work for you. Install directions do NOT match typical instructions, you get a parts list, but not all parts may be there, like the splash guard.1) order your own splash gaurd for non grinding daily use. Buy a 2nd good one for side sink if you have kids that dont know the difference, yes the 2nd sink can be connected, but we dont. Buy a silverware holder for sink to prevent ground up forks by absentminded chefs.2) if connecting to a dishwasher, remove, bore out the hole in the tube on the machine before attempting to connect anything. Watch a youtube video on connecting a flange stop disposal, and how the airgap tube for a dishwasher works.3) check your install for leaks....A) fill each sink full & drain, fill set 20 mins drain, run with small test foods like orange peels while running water. (Or prefill & cover with the stopper, i like to insrt stopper & lift for water to go in too)B) check tubing at airstop for dishwasher by pouring water in large tube if it does not drain check the disposal plug has been extracted from inside its tube for connectingC) rinse & drain dishwasher multiple timesD) silicon, and keep a drip pan until a few weeks of normal use is complete.4) do you need the button air tube thing? I dunno, we unplugged and connected to regular outlet & run as normal, we do not have septic. But when we move, we will plan for this in new kitchen.5) we bought the amazon warranty. We plan to use it if my plumber cannot fix whatever isnt working. It leaked a few odd drips first week, then nothing since, i installed a waterproof mat under sink & store items in basket for urgent flood clearing of the cabinets.Otherwise, I have had many brands, and refuse to pay 500 for name brand ones when someone always breaks ours with an oops every decade anyway.6) keep spare parts & warranty, incase you need to reset the unit or call for care. Ziplock & tape to inside of sink cabinet for best use.

Installation was super simple and it works amazing. Price was amazing for the quality we got. Definitely not super quiet but gets the job DONE! if you chose to not install the button feature (we didnt because our outlet is connected to a switch) make sure it is turned on so you are able to use the alternative switch you are using.

I did not like this Item parts were missing and plumber was not able to install.
