THE best!! I could not live without this ppd, highly reccomend!
I could not live without this stuff after having my babies. I’ve use it with both my boys and i love that its clean and works fast! I didnt have any sting, though it doesnt last as long as some other products, but i felt way better about the ingredients in this so it totally cancelled out for me. The smell is gentle/minimal which helped during recovery u didn't feel stinky or dirty, but it helped with numbing and still feeling clean when your body is working so hard to recover! Its a great gift for any mamas who are close to delivery too!!

Saving grace for a mama with a brutal delivery!
I had a brutal delivery. When I say brutal, I mean, BRUTAL. After all the trauma (I will spare the awful details--- it would be a long story), I ended up with both an internal and external tear (grade 4) that were fixed with emergency surgery because I was bleeding out. I had never experienced more pain and discomfort in my life. The ice packs gave me about 5 minutes of relief, but then I was back to the aching pains, stretching and pulling discomfort from the repairs, burning, etc. I was desperate for some relief and stumbled upon this and the spray. AMAZING for some temporary relief and for your sanity. It just cools everything down and relieves the pain, idk how to even explain it otherwise. Just do it and purchase it. This and the earth mama spray were literally 95% of the things I used other than tylenol, ibuprofen, the FridaMama squirt bottle, and tucks pads. Everything else was not worth it--- I mean it. I am now 7 weeks postpartum and still experiencing discomfort and pain here and there from my repair. And I am still turning to this when I feel very uncomfortable. The bottle suggests refrigerating it for extra coolness and I didn't always do that and I still found relief, but on rough days, it feels heavenly when it's cooled so I would recommend getting 2 and keeping one in the fridge. I would scoop it out with a spoon/Q tip/toilet paper and then apply because I wanted to keep the other contents in the jar as clean and sanitary as possible, so food for thought if you're a clean freak like me. It is 100% worth getting. Nothing is a miracle worker and not everything works for everyone, but at the cost and when you're that uncomfortable, anything is worth trying and it's even better when it really DOES help and it has clean ingredients!!

A last-resort product has become my first-line of attack.
I don't often write reviews, but I feel very compelled to leave one for this product. Embarrassing as it may be, the worst symptom of my first pregnancy has been an ongoing bout with TERRIBLE hemorrhoids... Thrombosed, grades 3-4, internal and external, and accompanied by excruciating pain that prevented me from functioning and sleeping normally (let alone continuing on with my regular active workout schedule, etc.). I have a very high pain tolerance and would never have imagined that something so seemingly "minor" as thrombosed hemorrhoids could be so debilitating. To add insult to injury, there's not much that can be done during pregnancy as surgical options are often times more painful and less of a solution than the actual hemorrhoids themselves. Together with my doctors we tried everything from prescription and OTC medications (Protofoam HC, Tucks, ad Preparation H) to "natural remedies" such as apple cider vinegar, sitz baths, etc. (I must also note that I lead a very healthy lifestyle with a diet very low in refined carbs and very high in whole grains, organic ingredients, green leafy vegetables, fiber, etc., so not even diet and exercise are effective as a first line of defense and treatment in this case.) I refuse to take pain medications normally, and even resorted to taking regular Tylenol two or three times just so I could sleep for a few consecutive hours. In all of my desperation and research I came across Earth Mama Bottom Balm. Coming from a physician family, I'm normally very skeptical of "all natural" type of medicinal products, but based o the Amazon reviews I decided that this was worth the risk. After reviewing the ingredients with my OBGYN and determining that the product was safe, I began applying it. For all of my skepticism in the world, I must admit that I felt almost immediate relief for the first time in over 2 weeks. The constant throbbing pain initially reduced (within the first 12-24 hours) to a general light pain that was more manageable. Within 36 hours I noticed a reduction in swelling. It was at this point that I stopped all other forms of treatment with the exception of Tucks pads for cleansing. Another 48 hours later and the debilitating pain had been reduced to occasional discomfort and itching. Within a week the swelling has gone down by about 65% and while things are not 100% back to normal, they are slowly healing and in a very manageable state. I rarely feel pain or discomfort (perhaps slightly during exercise, etc.). I will continue to use this product throughout the remainder of my pregnancy... and in a way I feel very relieved to have found it "the hard way" as I now know about it and trust it as a must-have for all of the wonderful postpartum issues that I will no doubt be going through soon enough. This balm has been a very unexpected life saver.

Also for perimenopause/menopause women!!
I scanned with my Yuka app and is excellent! No petroleum, parabens, any toxic ingredients, everything organic and natural. I'm in the perimenopause and I have moisturizers for the "front area" but those one didn't work for the other area...this balm is absolutely amazing, I've been applying just a couple days and I feel the different! Totally recommend.

WORKS ON HEMMERHOIDS
First I like to say I have grade 3 hemorrhoids diease complicated daily by IBS symtoms. I am not a good candidate for Hemorrhoidectomy surgery. I have tried most prescription creams on the market and most do a really poor job at shrinking and allievating the pain. Out of sheer desperation, and reviewing previous comments a sprang and purchased earth mama bottom balm, because alot of people said it helps for hemmorrhoids. This product is great, it has worked where all others have failed. I gave this a 4 star rating, which should really be 4.5 stars but that was not an option. I have found the cream works better when kept cold. It has a menthol type of smell, and when applied cold at first gives a cool feeling tham a warm feeling which some how reduces the hemorrhoids and takes away the pain. Depending on how bad my hemorrhoids are on a given day, the results could range from 5 minutes to one hour for resuts. Take in mind most people dont have hemorrhoid disease they just are deal with maybe a single one or two. Also this cream works on both prolasped internal and external ones. For me there is only one negative to this product, which is that after a couple of days I got really itchy in the area where I applied the cream. Since the product works so well, I decided to experiment, I noticed if I applied a very so small amount, that the itching result was drastically reduced but not gone altogether. My conclusion is that since some of the ingredients have flower extracts in them it could be possible that these extracts are causing some type of allergic reation in my body. Since everyone's body is different and not everyone is allergic to the same things, I cannot possibly say this will happen to anyone. All I am saying is that this side effect, while annoying has is not enough of a deterent for me to stop using a product that works when all else have failed. I have learned that in very small amounts I can achieve the same results and if I get itching in the area I use aquaphor to relieve those symtoms. This product has helped me so much, with mild to medium out breaks. I would reccomend this product highly.

Amazing cooling sensation
I’m newly postpartum and tried to return this because my hemorrhoid had healed but was unable to return. A couple of weeks later, it became inflamed again and I decided to give this a chance since I couldn’t return it. It’s amazing! Instantly cools on contact even without needing to be in the fridge. I don’t know what’s going on down there but this has stopped the burning and it doesn’t irritate at all.

Must Buy the product speaks for itself
This is all you'll need along with a postpartum cushion to relieve the pressure when you sit down. These products do everything a 5 step routine will do organically and with less products. I highly recommend they made me feel clean and relieved after every use

Gentle, Refreshing Postpartum Essential
This spray was a really nice addition to my postpartum recovery items. I love that it’s made with thoughtful ingredients and doesn’t rely on harsh additives or strong fragrances. The witch hazel gives a cooling, refreshing feel, and the spray bottle makes it easy and mess-free to use, especially when you’re sore and don’t want to deal with anything complicated. I also appreciate that it comes in a 2-pack, which makes it convenient to keep one in the bathroom and one in a bag for on-the-go. Overall, it feels well made, easy to use, and like a product that was genuinely designed with postpartum moms in mind.
