I bought one of these mirrors for my store, firstly the installation is such that positioning the mirror correctly is not easy, you have limited movement options, it needs to be on a ball joint that allows for free movement, it isn't, you have to move the bracket to move the mirror, and the bracket has very limited movement options.Despite that I ordered two more and they sent me the wrong item, I already booked an installer to come and do the work, so we tried to use them but it was no good, they were not appropriate for what we needed, so I need to send them back but am now out of pocket to the tune of one day's pay for a professional contractor.Yay.

I bought this security mirror for my place of business. The prices on basically similar products range from 50 to hundreds of dollars. This convex mirror in 26" size does well in small to medium sized places. My store is about 50 x 50 (the area that customers go into) and it does a good job so I can see everything otherwise obstructed by walls and selves. Remember to check if the one you are purchasing is for indoor or outdoor use, as the outdoor mirrors are much more expensive and unnecessary for indoor use. I definitely recommend this mirror and have been using it for almost a year!!!

Had small chip near middle out of box. Developed into crack. Flimsy mount...a 8mm nut on a singular stud in the back middle. Replaced with unbreakable mirror with a better mount design. It was mounted indoors on a ramp. I believe the vibration and the weak mount and the original chip caused the failure.

I bought this during a sale, and I was initially pleased with it. The mirror was a good size for the price, and it seemed sturdy enough.I wasn't as pleased with the installation process. The arm that came with the mirror was rather limiting, and I couldn't get it to move to the angle I'd needed it to have. I was eventually able to find a new spot, but more maneuverability would have helped. Still, I got it up, and it as working beautifully...at least for the first four days, when the mirror spontaneously committed suicide.I was looking at the mirror when it cracked, and I still can't find a reason for it. It wasn't bent. There wasn't any pressure on the mirror that could have caused it to crack. Nothing hit it. It just cracked, and since I'm not a fan of falling glass, it had to come out immediately.I still gave this two stars, since I don't know why this happened. Maybe someone else will have better luck, but at that price, I wouldn't purchase one of these again.

The installation hardware would have been perfect if an additional cross-sectional mounting bracket was included. However, it all worked out after fabricating one... The mirror serves its purpose, and looks nice.

The mirror cracked in three pieces by itself in Garage. May be due to cold weather. Lost money.
