Great pliers for the $$$
I had these originally as 5 stars, but after some use, I am not as enamored with them as I was at first. After using them for a while, I decided to try out the Knipex Cobras, and find them superior in every way. I have other channellock pliers I love, these are still good, great quality build, heavy duty, well made, but they are the second pair of pliers I reach for. For the money they are a solid choice.update:recently got these same Gl 10 with the blue plastic handles and prefer them to the code blue grip. it all comes down to personal preference, though.11/18/2019 you can’t beat these pliers for the money. Just bought a pair of the 12” for personal use (have them at work) and they just can’t be beat for the money. Excellent large pliers!

Decent but.....
The longer tool (I think it's 12" or so) is much better. This model is a little too small and not as beefy for the type of leverage you would want in the first place. The longer model has much better leverage for plumbing. Channelock has improved their products quite a bit in the last few years. I bought this because I like the grip, but the tool is a little disappointing. But I also like the lineman's pliers, diagonal cutters, and crimper with this grip. The steel seems to stay sharper than Klein Tools....

I like the Grip Lock by CHANNELLOCK. I like the Code Blue grips. Be nice if CHANNELLOCK offered it on ALL their tongue and groove pliers. These grip wonderfully. These models won't pinch you either. Proud to own a pair especially with the Code Blue grips. High quality pair of pliers at an affordable price and USA made!

Code Blue Grips Make All the Difference!
Another great product from Channel Lock! At 1st grip I love the new code blue grips they feel great in your hands I can't wait to use them. CHANNEL LOCK needs to make the 12inch with code blue grips.

Grip feels nice to the hand
All i got to say is that it's a channellock brand channel lock. Grip feels nice to the hand. Very durable and high quality.
