GIOVANNICosmetics Mousse NTRL Styling

Love this mousse! I have very fine hair that absolutely requires product. Introduced it to my stylist, and she even bought some.

I have fine 2C/3B wavy/curly, high porosity, dense hair, prone to the curl falling after one day/one sleep. I don't like to use a lot of gel or 5 products to style my hair. This Giovanni foam is terrific! It has good hold and is lightweight and seems to be more moisturizing that several mousses I have tried. It layers well over a light leave-in condition, with a light glaze of gel on top. The BONUS about this foam is that it works well for dry refreshes and doesn't leave my hair sticky or frizzy. Just pump some out, emulsify in the hands, and glaze it on/in. It also works well for single ringlet refreshing. The smell isn't great out of the pump but it completely dissipates once it's on my hair. I've only used it three times and I'm still experimenting but so far I'm super happy with it's performance and versatility. At this price point if you do CGM it's worth a try. No glycerin.

...the bottle came without a cap!! How does a new bottle of mousse not have its cap?? Why was it even sent to me if it didn't have its cap?It was in the box, next to a book I ordered and amazingly it didn't leak or anything without a cap, but it could have.So now I'm left wondering if you just sent me someone's returned bottle of mousse. A store would not put on its shelf a bottle of mousse without its cap. And you shouldn't sell and mail a bottle without its cap, either. Now that restrictions are lifting I'll probably buy this locally or look for another seller.This is the 2nd bottle I've bought from you. The first had its cap, and the cap was properly taped so that it wouldn't come loose during shipping.The mousse itself is five stars. It's very light, has next to no scent and works very well. But I can't give the transaction five stars for the outlined reasons.

I love this stuff on damp hair, it gets me the little bit of extra hold I need over a gel. The best mousse I've tried so far.

I really wanted to love this product because it is literally the only Curly Girl approved foam with minimal scent for sensitive individuals. It really does help me shape my curls. That said, there are two major aspects I dislike. First, it still has a scent. The smell dissipates quickly, but if you can't have any scent period then I would caution against it. The second is that it is super sticky and makes my hair frizzier than it would be if I didn't use any at all. Like frustratingly frizzy at the very start of the day. I really wish I could use a different product but am having trouble finding an alternative.

It definitely gives volume to my fine hair. Unfortunately I think i am allergic so something in this product because my head has been breaking out in itchy bumps and scabs for months after using this product :( if i didnt have this reaction I would reccomend this item.

I have low density wavy hair (2b/2c, low porosity) and volume is my biggest challenge. This has helped provide volume better than any other product I have used. I layer it on first, followed by a light hold gel.

I have very fine, thin, long, wavy hair 2b on a good day, 2a on a not so good day, definitely don't have any natural body. I am trying the mousse, gel, mousse technic using this product as the mousse and a light hold Giovanni gel as the gel, best 2b definition and most body that I have had in years! Definitely recommend!
