Fantastic All-Around Balance Trainer for Home Workouts
The BOSU Balance Ball Exercise Trainer has become a staple in my home gym. Right out of the box it felt well-made and sturdy, and the 26″ size is perfect for most workouts — from balance drills to strength and core exercises. The included pump works great (no struggling with a flimsy inflator), and I appreciate that they provide guided workouts to help you get started and stay motivated. The ball holds air well and feels firm and stable when in use. Whether I’m doing planks, squats, or stability training, this trainer adds a whole new dimension to my routine and makes even simple exercises more challenging. Great for beginners and advanced users alike — and a smart investment if you want versatile equipment for home use. Highly recommend!

Won't have to buy it twice! Unless you have multiple athletes that need to train at one time.
I’ve been using the BOSU Balance Ball for nearly ten years and can confidently say it’s one of the most reliable pieces of training equipment I own. I recently purchased additional units so multiple athletes can train simultaneously, and the quality has been just as consistent as my original. The product is well-constructed and holds up over long-term use, even with regular training demands. It’s also backed by a one-year warranty, with the option to extend under certain conditions. In my experience, though, durability has never been an issue—I’ve never needed to use the warranty. For the cost, this is an excellent value. It provides versatility for strength, balance, and core training, and is a staple in both home and professional training environments.

Great for improving stabilizing muscles
I used these in college frequently as a college athlete and finally decided to buy one on my own. It is a great product that builds up your stabilizing muscles in addition to whatever muscle group you are working on

Very dIfficult to fIll. Cheap pump and plug. Cannot be filled completely with supplied pump.
A high price for what you receive. Most of the negative reviews here are accurate. The overall weight of the product and the construction appear robust. However, the product is very difficult to fill. I was unable to fill it completely using the supplied pump. The hand pump is very, very cheap. It is ineffective for filling the ball. Air leaks from the pump as well as the fill valve while you are trying to pump up the product. It is slow going and took well over 10 minutes of pumping with air leaking out continuously from the pump as well as the "valve". The pump falls out many times and as you try to fill as the pressure builds, the leaking pump and valve get worse. I was able to get the ball to about 9" of height but, there is no real way to tell. Measuring the height of a round object at its peak requires a long level and some dexterity to say the least. Propping it against a wall to measure it is about all you can do and that is a hit or miss proposition if the base inst square to the wall. I am reading in the reviews the ball does not hold air. I wouldn't doubt this as the "valve" is just a hole in the bottom that requires a push in plug that is easily lost. This is another problem because after 10 minutes of pumping, the air rushes out when you remove the pump and try to install the cheap push in plug. You have to scramble to get the plug in as the air is rushing back out much faster than it goes in. I really wonder where the "thousands" of positive reviews came from. If you cant effectively fill it up, how can it actually reviewed? The pump and fill plug assembly are poorly designed and not effective. I would pass on this product. For what it costs you would expect a MUCH better way to fill and seal it. I do not think the plug will hold air for long.

Great for balance training!
I am a fitness enthusiast. I bought my ball on this web-site over a year ago, and I use it 2-3 times per week on average. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this trainer for people middle aged or older to do BALANCE TRAINING. What do I mean by "balance training"? Stand on the ball! Here's my journey. When I first "met" this ball I had not bought it yet. I saw it at the gym, and thought: "what do you do with it?" So I put it in the middle of the floor in the stretching area and stood on it (both feet). I'm reasonably fit, so my reaction was "no problem, what's the big deal?" So then I tried to stand on it with one foot and the light bulb went on! Whoa! This is DIFFICULT! Not only is it difficult I could see right away the benefits of improving the muscular strength and stability of the muscles in the foot and lower leg. Here are the basics: Put the ball round-side-down, and it is a bit easier. Put the ball round-side-up and it is more difficult! Also, if you PUMP the ball up more, it is also slightly more difficult (at the gym I go to there is always one ball somewhat "flat = easier" and one ball "round = harder"). So when I first started out, I went all-in: round-side-up. I would try to stand on the ball with one leg only and I found it quite difficult to do 20 seconds at a time. My feet and ankles were wobbling all over the place, and I had to use my arms and the non-standing leg for balance. However, I quickly improved. Within a couple weeks I was up to 30-40 seconds consistently and would occasionally go a whole minute without falling off. I would try to do 2-3 minutes cumulatively on each foot before I switched sides (falling off multiple times during the 2-3 minutes). I made a game of it. I would get FRUSTRATED if I could not last at least a whole minute at least once on each leg during my session. Fast forward 6 months or so and I'm now doing 5 minutes (cumulative) on each side, twice for 10 minutes per leg or 20 minutes total. I'm now (usually) able to do a full 2 minutes consecutively on each side without falling off - or at least I'm very frustrated if I cannot do the 2 minutes at least once on each leg. I have to concentrate very hard to maintain my balance - when I do this at home it helps if I have music on, and I let my mind wander but I (used to) put a dime or a penny on the floor and try to focus on that so I would not get distracted. I CANNOT watch TV while doing my balance training (I can, however, listen to the TV while I stare at the penny on the floor). Fast forward to 12 months and I'm still improving: I'm now able to do 5 minutes on each side (twice each, total of 20 minutes) and I rarely fall off anymore. I'm thinking: "wow, what progress I've made in one year! " My balance has improved so much I'm thinking I'm ready to be the next Great Wallenda (the people who walk on tightropes between buildings - ha ha). So I'm at the gym and I see a young woman pick up the Bosu ball and I have to watch her: She goes over, puts the ball down, does a couple squats on it and I'm thinking: "big deal!" Then she flips it over (round side down) and stands on it with one leg like I do. Then she raises her leg up behind her, grabs it with one of her free hands, and does a yoga pose! My Mind is Blown! So now I have my mission for the next year. I''m working on doing the yoga pose with one leg - MUCH more difficult than just standing on the ball with two free hands and a free leg to balance with. The progression is the same though: at first 20 seconds seemed nearly impossible, now I've progressed to (regularly) doing 60 seconds without falling off. Hopefully by the end of this year I'll be able to do it and hold it for 5 minutes at a time. I love this ball!

I've fallen in love with BOSU ball training in the off season to keep my Snowboard fitness up. I've been using a commercial one at the gym but it was only 60cm diameter and being 6'4" (192cm) I wanted the ability to have a wider platform to assist with my workouts. The BOSU balance ball at 65cm does this and is one of the widest presently on the market. Now you may say to yourself BOSU is a bit more expensive than the rest, but clearly proof is in the pudding here, it's a super high quality product that is built to last. Love the ability to select the desired colour range with BOSU as well. Got a fabulous price from Amazon with free delivery to Australia.
