LOVE this stepper! I read many reviews and compared MANY different ones based on size, reviews, and value for the price and I came to the conclusion that this one checked all the boxes I needed (may not be for everyone). I was a bit worried it wouldn't be sturdy enough to use in my garage floor which is usually slippery, but it's excellent! I use it daily for HIIT style workouts, put my full weight on it leaning my hands for leg lifts, step on with both feet and still have extra room for other movements and do squat jacks on it as well as use it as a bench for chest press or chest flies (which I loveeee that I can use it as a bench because when my husband works out at the same time I do, we don't have to share our other regular workout bench) and it's absolutely perfect!I was also worried about it holding up the weight, but I believe this one goes up to 250 pounds while others way less. I weigh less than 150 pounds, but have stood on it and have used the entire bar bell with additional weight and hand weights and have never felt it wasn't sturdy (do make sure the support on the bottom/risers are properly placed though). I was also worried it would be too big and take up too much space and while it is a regular gym size stepper, it doesn't take up as much space as I thought it would. If it did, you can easily pick it up and stand it up against the wall or tuck underneath a workout bench or storage. It came with 4 risers, but right now I have only used 2 (one on each side) for a 6" level stepper. Without any risers the stepper is 4" height, with 1 set is 6" and with 2 sets is 8". It is easy to clean and disinfect too and assemble/dissemble if you need to move it or transport it some place else. I like that it has the ridges for extra grip vs. other ones I reviewed, but it does leave marks on your hands a bit if you use it too much like I do. However, I just place a towel over it and easy solution. :) Highly recommend this one if want stability, versatility and durability. So far, so good!

I have had other step aerobic platforms but this one is quite well constructed, easy to adjust and super stable. While I use it for some exercise routines, I discovered another fantastic use for it when my husband had surgery recently. He was having trouble getting in and out of bed because our bed is a bit high. I was trying to figure out how to safely help him manage these daily transitions and thought about using a simple low step stool but it did not give him a wide enough base. This platform set on the highest setting was perfect. It provided a wide and stable base with a no skid surface. It is also easy to disassemble and store under a bed or closet when not in use. The price was also better than many branded products.

For context I live in south Florida and the steps were burning hot on arrival. The heat here is brutal so one of the two I purchased experienced some lifting along the edge. Again, it’s super hot out so I can’t get mad. I see others with the same issue and I just wanted to say- I put some gorilla glue along the edge and now that seam is super tight. No more lifting! Very happy with the overall quality. Used them and no issues. Love the grippy feet on the bottom. Very large surface area to step on. Very stable. Thick plastic so I don’t worry about them cracking. These are just like the heavy duty ones I saw at the commercial gym I used to go to. Very happy with my purchase!

I just received this today and already used it. The package and stepper was bigger than expected. It's just as big as the ones I used in my step class. It feels really secure when using one or both sets of risers. It's a great workout with none, one, or both risers. I really like how long it is. I can lay on it without hanging off of it when using it as a bench for my workouts using dumbbells. The only issue I had and the reason for deducting a star is that the black slip resistant material that wraps around the top of it was coming off on one of the sides. I had to press it down the whole entire side of it to secure it to the stepper again. I may end up having to glue it down so I will not have to worry about my foot snagging on it if it comes up again. That would be real safety hazard. It would also be great if at least two of the risers had some sort of slip resistant/rubber material on them to prevent it from moving when I use it on my wood floors to do bridges, but I just used a second yoga mat...one for the stepper and one for me to lay on. I would absolutely buy it again.

This is my favorite home step aerobic bench. I owned one for years (about 20!) and it was still perfect condition, just wanted a gray one since I keep it out in the house (last one was teal). Great price.

Very sturdy

I got this to try to be more active during my endless virtual work meetings (at least the ones I don't have to have my camera on for - don't want to make anyone seasick with the up and down). It slides under my desk for storage and slides out so I can step, step, step during select meetings. It feels sturdy, the tread on top keeps me from sliding around, and it doesn't shift on the wood floor. It's wide and deep enough so that I don't have to look down to pay attention to my feet. It's just what I wanted and at a decent price. Also lightweight enough to easily move for cleaning the floor.

This is a great step for a reasonable price! Sure, you can find other steps for cheaper but check the sizes before you buy them. I had a step that wasn’t quite as wide and often found myself risking serious injury by stepping too far to the side, toppling over and/or twisting my ankle. Some other steps may be wider side to side but then lack depth front to back. Check the measurements! You can get large professional quality steps for more than $100 but this one is sized similarly for a much more reasonable price. Granted, I’m not sure it is quite as solid as pricier ones because it seems to have a little give. But, it shows no signs of breaking after several high pounding sessions with my moderately obese figure. I haven’t tried the risers yet but they have a wide base which seems to indicate they will be solid.
