Very good but if you're using a hair product with oil in, the rubber degrades and breaks. I just fasten with hair pins as the rollers themselves produce impressive curls. Not very comfortable to wear overnight, but if you're determined like me you'll suffer a little less sleep for a bit of vanity! Works well with heat or natural drying.I've taken to washing the rollers after each use as I used a cocktail of products and to preserve the rubber fastners. This has added to the longevity of the rubber fastners. Or you can use hair pins to fasten and remove the rubber fasteners.

Perfect for home perming pensioners hair during lockdown! To be fair I’m sure they’re fine for any perms irrespective of length and thickness, such a good range of sizes in one affordable pack.
