Used on bifold door! Small simple lock does the job

Did the job with a little modification.
I had to pack out the one side to centralise and file the the other to make it easier for the 92 year old to use.

Useless for security purposes
Bought these for security on sliding doors but as you can se from photo so tiny with pathetic little screws they couldn’t keep a mouse out let alone a burglar. Not fit for purpose. Returning!

Does the job - easy to use and effective
Simple to fix to door for amateur in 5 steps1)Stuck the lock in place with blue-tac to allow me to adjust and be sure of placement before screwing into door.2) Marked out with felt tip3) Used dremmel to start off the screw holes4)fixed the door frame one first then realised the door one needed a couple of washers as door not tight to gap5 )screwed last one using slightly larger screws (due to using washersJob done - very happy 😊

Could be designed better
Okay for a cheap quick fix to keep a door shut however to line up the lock so it slots down perfect is more hassle than it's worth , there are other better designed cheap locks available, I also couldn't see it lasting after a while of use due to the weak joint of the mechanism

utilissimo e robusto.Vale i soldi spesi.Occorre essere molto precisi al millimetro,ma aggiustando un po' si riesce nell' intento.Per porte come da foto a 90 gradi.
