These are great brushes. There was a minor problem with shipping that the seller immediately corrected while keeping me informed.

When you spend $50 a gallon for deck covering you want good tools to apply it. The Wooster Brush F5119-5 1/2 Bravo Stainer Bristle/Polyester Stain Brush is the answer. We used a pad to apply the solid Cabot stain and the Wooster brush for back brushing and touch up. The handle screws in so you can use an extension pole if needed, it cleans up like a charm and stays soft and flexible no matter how often you use it. Couldn't be happier.

Way to big for hand use, attach a pole and stain your deck standing up

Good quality brush for deck stain. I have stained decks with sprayers and brushes, brooms & mops....this was the easiest of any to use. Its a good size for standard 6" deck boards, as it is the width of the board and holds enough stain to cover several feet at a time. I attached the brush to a broom handle for stand-up ease. The bristles are flexible and soft, allowing to get along the houseline (carefully) without splattering on the siding. I did two full coats on a 250 square foot deck in under 1-1/2 hours...about 1/4 the time of doing it with a 3" paintbrush.

Used TWP 201 oil stain on cedar siding and it worked great. Saved me $1,500 to $2,000 on labor. Stain is very thin so I used a roller with a cover on porch overheads and lambswool applicator on soffits. This brush holds a lot of stain which is great. It has a metal piece under the handle to rest the brush on the side of a plastic bucket. This brush will not fit in a regular steel paint bucket so you must use a wider pail. I reccomend a 2 1/2 gallon plastic bucket available for a few dollars at any Home Depot or Lowes that casn be cleaned up and reused. Fill the pail only 1/3 full. The removable handle should allow the use of a longer handle for no kneeling while deck staining which probably works if you use a "Wooster" extension. Standard attachments which are interchangeable industry wide and available anywhere will not fit. The threads are different. This didn't bother me on the siding but kept me on my old knees for 3 hours on the decks. A very good stainer but get the "Wooster" extension if your doing decks.

I had to stain my deck and wasn't sure I needed such a wide brush. I'm so glad I bought this! The extra size made the job go so much faster. I was able to get the whole deck stained in just a couple hours. The brush was high quality, worked great and was easy to clean.

Fantastic Brush to stain a desk with an entire gallon ...I used an extension pole, with this brush. It did a great job of applying semi-transparent stain on my outdoor deck, and the entire gallon was applied in approximately 2 hours. I used a roller and a pan, to apply a 4 FT wide coat, put that aside, and then took this Wooster Brush 4-5 inch brush, to make the wood absorb the stain better, in a back and forth movement. This is a very, very effective, quick, efficient brush ...cannot get any better than this ! The price is also very very reasonable.

Bought this brush to stain my deck with. I screwed in onto a broom pole so I could stain standing up. The brush worked great. I didn't notice any loose hairs while doing the job. The brush did a great job holding and applying the stain. The quality is excellent. These brushes are not cheap, but they are worth every penny for the quality of job they do.

It did the job it was supposed to do, held the stain nicely, none of the bristles came out while it was used to paint. Good quality, no bristles came out while in use. Washed up good, and can be reused. Would buy again if needed.

Amazing brush. Used it to stain my log house. 600sqft later and it's still in amazing shape. Just take care of it. Clean it after every use. I like it so much I'm buying a second one.
