This blade will take you to shaving perfection - IF you have the skill to handle it!
So i recently upgraded my Razorock aluminum Hawk v2 (which I've used exclusively for the past 6 or 7 years) to the V3 with the most aggressive head. And when I first saw the blade gap i was nervous. When i loaded a Feather professional blade i wondered how much better shave was I going to get or was I going to regret getting this version, Well the shave was phenomenal like the V2 the shave incredibly smooth. So then I took the next plunge and got the Feather Super and shaved with it today and it was even better, smoother and closer, in fact I didn't even feel the blade on my face. Not only that but the stubborn areas on my neck were mowed down significantly with just the first pass. Now I will say this and its important. I had been wet shaving with a DE blade (usually a Feather) in various razors for over 10 years searching for the perfect shave. DE (Double Edge) was a game changer compared to cartridge razors. This DE experience helped me to perfect my technique so I had the necessary skill set to move to an SE razor, so i would say if you're coming from cartridge razors to any SE razor, don't because you lack the skill to correctly use SE razors and without that you absolutely WILL hurt yourself. So when you read reviews saying danger Will Robinson and you're a wet shaving newbie, listen! When I moved from DE to SE (Single edge) that got me way farther toward a perfect shave, when I moved from the Professional to the Super I finally reached shaving nirvana and finally at long last got that perfect shave. Super is Well worth it- IFFF you're not a noob! Happy Shaving!

Fantastic Shave!
I've been using a straight razor for shaving for years now. I started with a very cheap razor (the ones that cost like $5 for 100 blades) and while that was a big improvement over a normal razor, I didn't realize the shave could get even better. I purchased these for the first time a few months ago and WOW! I thought my cheap blades were sharp - those are butter knives compared this this!!! The shave is fantastic and irritation free. I use each blade about 4 times before tossing - or 2 sessions (I shave twice per session, one with the grain, one against the grain) and it stays sharp. I have used 6 times a few times but by the 6th time, I can feel the blade dull a bit and I love a sharp blade. They are considerably more than I was paying but it is well worth it. It took me a while to be careful with it b/c the cheaper blades were a bit more forgiving and I used to apply a lot of pressure while shaving. When I used these, its definitely not good to apply a lot of pressure - you just need a "feather" touch and it works beautifully. Just to get a sense how much better, I did try my cheap straight razor blades one time for kicks and WOW! I realized the cheap blades were NOT shaving anywhere as close and it gave me terrible razor burn. Never again, I'm a convert to these blades and while my initial switch to a straight razor was to save money (tired of paying Gillette's extortion for new refills on their n-bladed safety razors) and the cheap blades were so unbelievably cheap, I'm still willing to pay more for these great razors (Still probably come out way ahead dollar wise using these). Also, the built-in used razor disposal system is a great touch. It was always a pain to toss my cheap blades b/c I was worried about someone cutting themselves if I just threw them in our trash can (have dogs that tip over the can once in a while and didn't want them to get cut). You just slip in a blade after it's used underneath and its safely put away until you've used all the blades. This is a big plus for safety. I also love the dispenser which makes reloading very simple. My old cheap blade was all manual and was a pain.

Careful is the key word with these.
Ok...these are sharp. VERY sharp. How Sharp? They cut through a 1/2" thick magazine and then went in another 1/16" of an inch into my thumb on the other side. Backstory: I got a Mr.C Razor from ebay. Brand new and it came with a box of the Feather Professional blades. I took one out, cleaned it and had an impressive shave. About a week ago, these Professional Super blades came in. I popped one into the Mr.C, but for some reason the holes don't 100% line up and the holder divet appeared to have some leftover metal in it. I tried forcing the blade in, but the only way to do so is with the blade edge facing out. So I grabbed what I thought was a thick enough magazine, pushed down on the blade and....the damn thing went through the magazine and into my thumb. I realized something was wrong when I started bleeding everywhere. I bled for about 1:36 seconds and then wrapped my finger up. It took about 4 hours for it to completely clot and stop bleeding. In hindsight, I should have used something metal, but the magazine was the closest thing to me since I didn't want to walk through the house and to the garbage butt naked. The most impressive thing was the cut was so damn surgical, that I didn't even feel any pain. The cut is still there after a week, but it's starting to heal to a point where I could use it to shave about two days ago and it is smooth, folks. The holes don't still completely line up, but when you slide the Mr. C blade tray back into the razor, it's snug enough to not come loose. The length of the blade is great vs using a D.E. broken in half and I found the Super Pro to be much sharper than the Pro. It really is an experience shaving with Feather blades. I highly recommend these, as long as you do nothing but load 'em and shave. Your thumbs will thank you for it.

Consigliatissimo!

as someone with sensitive skin i find these blades to be amazing. they glide across the skin easily and will take care of thick hair which in my case is my chin and moustache. i was constantly skipping on my chin and getting nicks with other razors this has stopped that. i have tried two shaves with the same blade and i notice no difference in cutting quality. only issue i have is i would prefer if the blade was taller so it protruded from the shavette more. would highly recommend BUT as others say they are very sharp (as they should be) and if you are a first timer expect to demo your face at least a little, these things will cut through your skin like butter. keep in mind these are made by a company that produces scalpels for surgery which they do 2 grinds on, the shavette blades get 3....

Warning: Very sharp blades. I sliced my finger just by picking a blade out so be careful. However, the blades are very good.

Thicker and wider than the Professional blades these take no prisoners... They are ultra sharp and give an excellent, irritation free shave if treated with respect but are definitely not for beginners, they can bite and bite hard!
