Swimming Baby Must Have
These are great!! They held up very well for our trip and then they also great just for our summer swim days. These are a must have so you don't get something in the pool that you definitely don't want. Parent Tip though when there is poop tear the sides that's a lesson I learned so you don't get it all down their leg and everywhere else! Hope this helps but I will be purchasing this time and time again when it's pool time!

No Leaks, Confidant to Put Baby in Any Pool
I got these for my almost 6 month old grandson. He wears a size 3 regular diaper (he's a bit of a chunk) and this size is perfect. I had a hard time finding them in my Walmart/Target so it was just easier to purchase them from Amazon.I don't use them in a public pool as my daughter is wary of putting him in a public pool (I don't blame her). I have an Intex pool that I bought for him and I to play in so we don't have to worry about other babies not wearing swim diapers. I would be perfectly comfortable with him in someone else's pool wearing these (even without a vinyl diaper cover).I haven't tried any of the other brands of swim diapers but since these work so well I don't see the point. When first writing this review I was only going to give the product 4 stars because I thought I was going to receive Nemo diapers but instead I received pink Arial/Minnie Mouse design. I realized that isn't the product's fault so I didn't ding them on that. Amazon needs to fix the issue though since it is a Seller/Fulfilled by Amazon item.

really convenient, but maybe buy the newer version at a store
Okay, my relationship with these is complicated...on the one hand, they're super useful and effective, on the other hand, they can be a real pain to use.I will mention, though, that I've bought these twice from Amazon, and once was the wrong pattern/color (since you can't specify when you order, and they are not remotely gender-neutral...can't dress my son in PINK swimmers without my niece getting very upset!) and once was fine, but then I also bought the same package from Target, and those must be the newer version of these, cause they were SO MUCH EASIER TO USE! The package from Target had diaper velcro tabs on the side, so you didn't have to try to slide it up chubby squirmy baby legs! So, in the future, both to get the pattern/gender I want, AND to get the newer, easier version, I will be buying these at Target or some other physical store, rather than from Amazon.Okay, aside from that, here's the thing: the whole point is that they don't swell up in the water like a regular diaper, so OBVIOUSLY they don't absorb very much liquid. It drives me crazy that people complained about the lack of absorbency in these reviews, I mean, c'mon people. The point is not to contain the urine, it's to contain the fecal matter. So I dress my little guy in a normal diaper and swimsuit until we are just about to put him in the water, then we quickly change him into a swim diaper, and that works perfectly. However, if we're at home in the community pool and not at the beach or some other pool not within walking distance of my house, I prefer to use reusable swim diapers for him instead of these disposable ones, just because reusable swim diapers are somewhat absorbent and better for the skin and of course much cheaper long-term. But, since you can't beat the convenience of just tossing these disposable ones once they get dirty or you're done swimming for the day, I prefer to use these for any swimming trips and I always keep some of these in my pool/beach bag, just in case my son's reusable swim diaper gets dirty before we're done swimming; I just change him and keep swimming, and keep the reusable diaper in a ziplock until we're done and I can rinse it off and launder it. If anyone's curious, we use the Charlie Banana reusable swim diapers, and they're awesome. Sizing is the same as these reusables, so far; my son is 6 months 17 lbs, and he's wearing a size small (fits perfectly) in both these disposable swim diapers and the reusable Charlie Banana swim diapers.

Huggies little swimmers
Fit my one year great! The size small did match the weight unlike the pampers brand of little swimmers, they held up for the whole day and helped not make accident leak out into the pool. The size will also fit her next summer. I didn't have to get another size even when she went up a diaper size. Definitely worth the price I only had to buy one pack for the whole summer and even shared a few with some friends! Still have some left over and we went swimming alot! I was also able to let them sit out and dry and reuse them! For times she was only in our pool for a few minutes ππ

Pleasantly surprised
Some friends recommended buying disposable swim diapers and doubling up with a reusable swim diaper over top. We haven't ventured into a real pool yet, so we haven't tried this method. However, we did buy these Little Swimmers and have been using them on our daughter (without doubling up with the reusable diaper) when we put her in her baby pool. This weekend, we changed her diaper after swimming and were surprised to find it full of poop. None of it leaked at all. After speaking with friends who are experienced veterans when it comes to swim diapering, I was under the impression that leaky poop was inevitable. Apparently it's not. May have been a fluke, but we'll definitely keep using these.
