Fabulous gaming laptop
To get the negatives out of the way : feels a bit plastic, no USB C, all the ports on one side which is a sign of cost cutting. On the positive, the performance is superb, of the games I've played on it so far Doom whips along, Elite dangerous merrily rocks along at ultra settings. The plastic build may feel cheap but is obviously hard wearing, I'm relaxed at cost cutting here rather than anything related to gaming performance.I was conscious of reviews pointing to the Razen being the weak link but equally when plugged in (as this needs to be) doesn't throttle so badly. The Tuf Armour Crate software is well laid out and accessible, again if there are concerns over the CPU that can be prioritised hereFinally at this price point I can find no fault with this computer at all. With an RTX2060 for under £1000 is aggressive pricing. This makes this computer superb value and I am well pleased with it

Ryzen 7 3750H 16GB RTX 2060 6GB - check last edit review
I bought this laptop in November 2019. I wanted to wait a while before writing a review. I do play mainly Destiny 2 and it runs perfectly at high quality. The battery is what it is, i do not complain, neither about the noise it does in performance or turbo fan speed (something you can solve using headphones). I love it. I use this laptop also for editing and the PCI display may not give you the best colours but it does the job, and I'm satisfied. I bought a secondary fan just to avoid any sort of overheating risk. It shouldn't happens but you never know. So far everything is good! This is my first gaming laptop and before i chose it i had to read alot about laptops. It's never easy spending big amount of money, especially online where you cannot test the product. It has made me a bit anxious, at the very beginning. Thanks to the reviews of this community I made the right decision.Edit 9 Dec, 2020: i advise to everybody who are gonna buy this laptop to buy extension for your warranty, as i did, luckily. I had to send my laptop to repair service after two weeks the normal 1y warranty would have expired. Issue related to thermal module.

Good laptop, if a little loud when stressed
Decent specs for the money and a good little machine. The 2060 gpu works will and gives solid frame rates, but when in turbo mode sounds like a jet plane taking off. Keyboard decent but the touch pad buttons are also touch sensitive, so whilst this enlarges the touch pad area it means the cursor can be inadvertently moved when trying to click if you are not precise. Battery life terrible if gaming which is to be expected with a gpu of this nature. Not so bad in Windows when it uses the onboard gpu instead. It’s a bit stingy on the port front too, three usb, network, hdmi and headphone jack and that’s your lot. All are located on the left hand side. The 500gb M.2 SSD isnt the fastest but can be upgraded, and there is a spare slot to install an additional 2.5” drive. Overall I’m pretty happy.

I usually don't write reviews...
'Asus - In search of functional'After seeing a great deal on this laptop I thought I was on for a winner. I was very wrong. The screen is great. Feels brilliant build quality. The speakers are awesome. I like the keyboard. That's where the pros finish...The first day I used the laptop it was freezing, blue screening and he touch pad is horrible and jumpy. The laptop even booted to bios once as it didn't think there was a drive installed! The first game I used was minecraft and I was only getting 25fps, there were glitchy textures and it was lag spiking horribly.According to the game, it wasn't running off the gpu, it was running off the Vega graphics on the cpu. I tried changing this in nvidia control and performance settings but to no avail.I haven't had a chance to run it on high end games but I've had enough, £900 should get you an easy to use, optimised, powerful laptop. As other reviews have suggested, I think software and compatibility issues ruin this laptop. If you're after a laptop you can use easily and play games hassle free i'd recommend you stay away from this one. Maybe I just got a dodgy one but reading similar reviews, I think they're all pretty much the same. Its currently being reset and I am returning it this afternoon. Annoyed and dissapointed.*edit* I've returned the laptop now and I went into Currys Pc World to test some similar laptops - none of them froze as much and they all felt far smoother and user friendly.

Value for money
I'll try and give the best review possible:(Model with r7 and rtx 2060)First of all, the pros.....-120hz screen is smooth as hell.-rtx 2060 is more than enough to run games on high 120fps at 1080p.-CPU does NOT bottleneck the GPU, I thought it would.-The laptop is actually decent feeling and looks good. Better than the pictures on amazon. It's an all plastic build, but smooth feeling and with material that doesn't leave fingerprints.-At £889 on black friday, it's a steal.Like I wasn't able to find parts (with the same specs) for a full pc and monitor for that cheap.-it's thinner than it looks, might depend on the person.-keyboard is backlit but no per key or zone lighting. Otherwise the keys are responsive and I have no problems writing long essays on it.Cons--colour accuracy is decent for watching videos on youtube. Great for gaming but not if you want to do colour accurate work. (dell might have something better for you).-Heavy, on your lap, you feel the weight. But I take it to uni every day and it's quite portable.-5 hours of normal non gaming battery life.-doesn't have an SD card reader. No USB 3 port as well. Also, all the ports are on the left and none on the right or back.-the speakers are down firing and lack clarity although it gets really loud, like really loud.-Fans are not audible when doing non gaming tasks, but defenitely loud when gaming.Overall, the pros hugely outweigh the cons for me, so I decided to buy it.
