Diamine Fountain Pen Ink, 80 ml Bottle, Ancient Copper

Really nice ink— beautiful flow, wonderful color!

Diamine Ancient Copper is one of the best ink colors invented, in my opinion. It performs well in your pens, though I do prefer using it in a broad nib pen so one can get the full effect of the shading qualities. I will warn you that this ink will build up crusties around the rim of the bottle, as it is a common issue with orange tinted inks.

Ancient Copper Very attractive ink, it has worked very well in the 5-6 pens that I have tried it in so far. The color is more of a new copper than an ancient copper, with a strong orange tone to it. However, I did notice that it seems darker in the Lamy Safari than in any of the other pens I have used. The nib sizes are similar (fine to x-fine) so I am not sure what is causing the difference in appearance. Dries quickly, some light bleed through on cheap copy paper, you can see there was writing being done, but it wasn't enough to really read it. Overall very happy with this ink, and look forward to trying out other Diamine colors in the future.

I purchased a new fountain pen and used this ink to fill it. It produced the correct color and wrote very smoothly with no skipping or blooming. Lovely color.

The ink is great; however, a significant amount had leaked out in transit and made for a messy cleanup.

This is one of my favourites, the shading is very nice, from a reddish brown to an orange brown.

Con esta tinta tengo cargada una Mont-Blanc que perteneció a mi padre, con plumín de oro. Fue adquirida en 1960. Grosor del plumín: Fino. La tinta fluye muy bien. Es sumamente agradable escribir con ella empleando un buen papel Conqueror, Galgo o similar.
