Love this hair dye was using a different brand that wasn't ammonia free and it dried my scalp and hair out so bad. This is a slightly different color than what I had but I wanted more of a purple color. Highly recommend this brand it's amazing!

If you have a lot of hair or long hair you will definitely need two boxes. One box wasn’t enough for my hair and I was only going halfway with this color.

I used the Medium Royal Amethyst 5.12 it leaves hair super soft with ultra shine, but the color is not quite what I expected, although it it turned out beautifully. I will definitely recommend and purchase again. Just don't expect exactly what's on the box. Smells good and it feels amazing.

I absolutely love this product! I added a before, during and after picture to the review so you can see what it looked like during each phase. I love that it didn’t smell like chemicals, it’s scent is really floral and doesn’t hurt your head or burn your eyes! Definitely the box color I’ll use from here on out!

It’s extremely hard to get an accurate representation of color online. I thought a picture could help someone with dark brown hair trying to go for a deep rich true purple. The royal medium amethyst sounds like it would be perfect. The pictures look like it would be good- I even looked at the before and after coloring examples on the box but this color came out like more of a subtle mauve purple/reddish brown. Not a deep royal purple like I was hoping for. I will probably use the remaining bottle of my Adore semi permanent purple to enhance more blue tones. Such a bummer because I had high hopes for this color but it’s just not the one.

DID NOT WORK!!! I haven't colored my hair in a few years and decided why not. Not sure what is wrong with this product but the dye all came out!! I have used this color before and have also colored my own hair for many years. Not sure what is wrong with the product but it did not work!!!

I really wanted a purple tint to my hair without bleaching it. I wasn’t looking for bright purple… just something you could see in the right light. Anyway, I grabbed this because of its color and that it had no ammonia.Now, let me first say this, application was super easy!! The oil base really saturated the hair and was easy to spread evenly. I only needed one box and I almost always need two boxes.BUT my hair is not even slightly purple. It’s red. And not like a dark burgundy red… but it’s a dull orangey red. Actually, when I first saw my roots it reminded me of when my hair starts to lift when bleaching it.I’m probably going to throw a Madison Reed color over it since I have a lot of success with them. I’m not sure what happened with me… but just be aware your hair may be red… not purple at all.

Beautiful color! Only thing is it doesn't last long started to fade on the 3rd wash
