This fan is absolutely gorgeous. I got this to pair with the pink chandelier for my 8 year old daughter.She is a bit of a girly girl. She loves this fan. It is HEAVY, but so well made. It was a little time getting it together and you definitely need 2 people to put it up! What I love about it as well, would be that it is not a fan she will out grow. Assuming the fan lasts a long time it will still be great even when she is a teen and "not a baby" anymore! This would be beautiful in a little princess room, toddler, young girl and teen. I feel it is so beautiful it would be great in all stages of a girls growing years! LOVE IT!

this fan matches my office furniture which is off white. very pretty fan. i don't recall having a remote with it. i don't believe there was one. one thing that surprised me was that there was no light on the fan. i saw afterwards that people have attached a light to the bottom of the fan. since i have ceiling lights and have a light on my desk i wont be putting a light underneath the fan.

The holes don't line up, some aren't bored all the way through. He said the more a fan costs the more trouble it is! I should have taken his advice. I offered to send it back. He had assembled the blades already. He really got worked up working on the ornate pieces. He said they are extremely wobbly. It'll be nice and sound after he finishes. Nice having an electrician in the family.

Directions are very sketchy. VERY difficult to assemble. VERY heavy. Gave 2 stars because it is so pretty. Just hope my guys can put it up!

I have installed a dozen ceiling fans, I'm not saying it's the hardest... but close. Ha! Had to grind and alter pins to get the 4" drop to fit. Fan is very quite and looks great on my 9ft ceiling. All of the top is steel. Oozes quality. Disappointed the fan blades were not distressed. The off white color IS NOT a perfect match for crystal bead light kit (purchased separately) that is recommended. But looks good together. I would find a nice $65 chandelier next time. YES you can do a flush mount, (fancy decoration at top is still visible) but won't be able to use the 3 scrolls located at the very top and mounted to post. Flush mount is not recommended (with this or any other fan) not enough space from ceiling 18" is a standard recommendation from ceiling.

This is a pretty fan! It goes well with my French country bedroom decor but I plan to paint it white this summer. It puts out a good amount of air. The only problem is that it makes a clicking sound that keeps me up at night. We have checked everything and can’t find the problem, we know it is installed correctly.

This fan is freaking heavy!!! It is beautiful and can be a little daunting to put together. We had to buy longer screws to hang this fan because the others were a little too short and it seemed unsafe due to the weight of this fan.We needed a longer down rod for this fan since it was going on a very high ceiling. Be aware that casa is the only fan maker to still use 1/2 down rods. You can't buy these very easily and they are hard to find on amazon except through Yosemite Home Decor on Amazon. 3/4" down rods are standard now but it can't be used on this fan since the filigree embellishments are made to fit around a 1/2" rod.This fan is incredibly beautiful. Not something you can find anywhere else.

I bought two of these fans - added the light kits - Really beautiful once up and installed. They put out a good amount of air and both of my girls like them. Why on earth would you put a black switch on the fan and why black screws/ball to mount the fan? Looks bad!!
