Great suit for long torsos!
I bought this suit a year ago - so this review comes after much use.I purchased a size 10 long. I have a very long torso - but I am not particularly tall. At the time of the order I weighed 130 pounds and am 5'7" tall. The suit fit well. i have since lost 15 pounds and the suit it a little loose - probably from wear on the fabric as well as the weight loss.I swim on 3-4 times per week outside and rinse the suit in clean water after my swim. I rarely washed the suit. It held up very well. It needs replacement now because it has gotten thin in the backside and there are some runs in the fabric near the arm holes. I have historically had a great deal of difficulty finding one piece suits that fit - this one is one of the only ones. I believe the size 10 was a size up or so in order to get additional length (the suit was not super tight when new). If you are particularly tall I would recommend going up one suit size in order to have additional length. The front is fully lined and there is an unlined shelf bra. If you regularly swim laps this is a good performance suit. It does not have pads in the chest area. In terms of comparison to less expensive suits, the construction of the interior of the suit and the sewing is better - more durable and the quality of the fabric is very good. The suit has been the first comfortable one-piece bathing suit that I have ever had and I am reordering now because I have been so happy with this product. Highly recommend!

Great fit!
I was looking for a lap swimming suit that was comfortable, supportive, and with good coverage and this fits the bill! The sizing was perfect and as a taller woman I appreciate the “Long” size. (The plus* means long.)

exactly what you need if you want a practical comfy suit for casual swimming
I like to swim for exercise and recreation, but I am not a racer or a pro or any sort of thing that would require me to have a suit that helps me go faster. I just needed one that doesn't slip off, provides enough support, and is comfy enough to swim around in for a long period of time. This is the suit for that! The sizing seemed about right, but for me, I went up a size-- In women's dresses, I am a 6 or 8, and I got a 10 and a 12 in this suit to see what would fit. The 10 felt a little tight when I put it on, but not uncomfortably so. The 12 was a little loose, especially in the top. So, I opted for the 10, and am glad that I did. As soon as I was in the water, the 10 fit perfectly, did not feel too tight, and did not leave any red marks or anything like that. I think I made the right choice size wise for me, looking at the size chart, I was a 8 in the bust measurement, 6 in the waist, and a 10 in the hips, and the 10 is just right for me, if that helps anyone with the same sizing issues! The fabric seems durable, and it is nicely lined. There is a built in shelf-type bra (it doesn't have formed cups, or anything, but there is a separate bra part, with an elastic band across the front, and this provides some support). It doesn't provide a great deal of support, but enough given that the suit is relatively thick and seems to retain its stretch well. That was one concern that led me to a suit like this rather than a suit that was just for fashion, because other suits that I have owned tend to slip off when I dive into the pool, or provide no support at all.The straps are thick enough that they do not dig into my shoulders, and the way that they cross in the back allows for me to move my arms easily. The leg openings are not super high, which I love. This is not like the typical high-leg racing speedos that I think of when I think of speedo suits. It comes down lower, which I find very flattering. It is accurate to how it is shown on the picture. Although it is a more modest suit, it still hugs my body in a way that I find very flattering. So, even though it is not just for fashion, I still feel confident in this suit, and think that it looks nice.I will update this when I have used it more to say whether or not it fades or any other issues appear, but if it stays how it is, I will be very happy. It seems like it will last me a long time, even with weekly use. I can't say how it would be for those who swim for reasons other than I do, but I recommend it to anyone who needs a practical suit.

Great but...
The suit fits well but the straps are too long. I wish they were adjustable.

Does not last more than 3.5 months
I swim 35-minutes a day, 3 times a week in the pool at my Gym. I rinse my suit in cold water within 30 minutes of exiting the pool. This is the second Speedo Powerflex Ultraback I have purchased in the last 7 months. Both of them were stretched out and disintegrating (see photos) after 3.5 months. Brand new, these were comfortable and flattering, but after 3.5 months, they were sagging and too worn at spots. Since it's just one layer (not lined) the worn out spots were even more noticeable. I have now moved on to a different brand.

Tall Girls' Best Friend!
I LOVE this swimsuit!! I'm so glad a took a chance ordering it. Here's the deal, I am 6'1 and plus size. I don't think I've ever found a one-piece swimsuit in my entire adult life that has fit. Usually they aren't long enough and the straps are strained to continue covering my bust. I've always opted for tankinis because it was just easier and I feel like they are usually flattering, but even with tankinis, I struggle because I'm plus size but not super chesty (which a lot of plus size clothing seems to assume if you are bigger in the waist/hips that you have like a DDD chest) so a lot of times the bodice isn't filled out. This usually isn't a big problem if I'm just hanging by the pool or leisurely taking a dip, but I started doing lap swim to get in shape and a loose-topped two-piece just wasn't going to cut it so I started doing my research to find a one-piece to use for doing laps. It's long enough AND snug enough (but not TIGHT) in all the places I need it to be. It's the perfect suit for what I needed. I wouldn't say it's UNflattering by any means, but I just never think one pieces are flattering on me with how I'm built. Maybe that's just me being self-conscious though. Anyway, it was a great buy! If you're a tall gal and looking for a one piece, this would be my recommendation! Cheaper (and I've heard longer) than Lands End suits in tall.

Great swimsuit
Bought this for regular swimming at the gym pool. It’s perfect - sporty and modest coverage, which is what I look for in a sporty swimsuit.
