**Q: Does the 7.1 surround sound work on xbox and ps4?**
A: On PC 7.1 out of the box is HORRIBLE. 
But, it becomes a good headset once you install DTS Unbound or some other package for spatial sound. It detects the headset on install and activates the license, so it's all good. Full price is a lot for what it is tbh but on sale is a great headset.

**Q: How long is the wire?**
A: Two metres.

**Q: If I have a configuration on my laptop, if I use the headset on ps4 will it carry over?**
A: You can save your settings to the USB sound card, it will carry other those settings if you use it on a different device without the software.

**Q: Does this headset hurt both ears and head?**
A: Not that I have found. The ear muffs are soft and the headband adjustable.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Still holding in there after 4 years

I spend a lot of time with headphones on, so for me over-ear seemed like the only really comfortable solution. I also wanted decent sound, while I did not expect amazing. Mic also needed to be acceptable. Pro: The upside this has ticked all my boxes, sound is good and can be adjusted via the software. The mix is also really good, and I have had people, on the other side, comment on the clarity and quality. I can wear this for quite a bit and still they are comfortable. You do not need to software for these to work. I can really tune the sound of my headphones and mic quite well using the software. The volume and mute button on the cable are really handy and I use them all the time. Good length of audio cable. USB DAC is plug and play. Audio cable can be removed from headphones, the number of time I have forgotten my headphones and stood up, this connection disconnecting has save me by coming out the headphone. Not what it is built for but it still helps me. Con: The plastic parts can fail, my grommits holding the cups in place all cracked, I used my 3D printer to make new ones, replacement parts are expensive. The pads that come with the headphones are fine, but not great, I have gone through those and 3rd party ear-pads and the 3rd party ear-pads have been far nicer and lasted a little longer. The software is a pain, it should simply run in the background, but sometimes it just pops up, or changes my settings on an update. My cable is not braided and gets twisted a lot, maybe braided would tangle less. Lately ( after 4 years ) I have been getting a few audio glitches, I am not sure if it is the headphones or DAC, I will have to check, but I thought I would drop my review in here.
