Good quality USA product with carpet but completely vertical
Very good product made in the USA and much much better than the other condo I had purchased made in China with faux fur that came off the condo within the first week of 12 week old kittens playing on it! Cheaply made but expensive product. This product has carpet which is absolutely necessary with cats! The main criticism I have of this condo is that it is all vertical without a side arm of any kind for the cats. My former condos have all had at least one horizontal side arm for the cats to go up and down and not have to run into each other and not have only a vertical ascent and descent. This condo would have been improved if there had been a side arm built into it. I will need to buy another condo shorter in height to set to the side of this condo for the cats that is also made of the same quality with carpeting. Very, very difficult to find quality cat condos!

A real hit with cats and their staff
From the users, Rikki and Downi: As discerning feline consumers, we find this cat post a fully satisfactory replacement for the one that we (and reportedly others) loved to pieces. Whether we need to take out our aggression with a full assault or just want to stretch and sharpen our claws, the vertical posts stand up to our attacks with no wobbles. The platform on top is great for when we want to show we are king of the world; the middle platforms are a good height to be petted by passing humans; and the condo is a nice retreat when we want a little solitude. From the household staff: We have found that a tall cat post at the entrance to the living room has prevented any tendency to scratch furniture, and we have had one for over 40 years. We especially like the sisal vertical poles, because they can be recovered with sisal rope from the hardware store when the cats wear out the original ropes. It is well worth the price. Assembly was relatively easy.

This is a great product -- once it's assembled
This is a great product -- once it's assembled. Three days in, and my cats haven't taken to it like they did their old tree. The directions are useless and rather humorous. There are three steps. Step One: put everything together. Etc... None of the pieces are labeled,so really try to follow the images. Comes with an allen wrench and screws in tight. It's sturdy! I think my cats are scared of the rather small platforms; they're domestic short/medium hairs and about 12lbs, and the platforms are a bit on the small side. The cubby is huge. Probably their favorite part about it, next to the sisal rope. Will update this if the cats actually use it, but otherwise, a little disappointed :(

otherwise it is very sturdy and easy to assemble
my cat loves it. only thing is that the carpet started to unravel on the condo as soon as i took it out of the box. carpet on the bottom edge of the condo started coming off in strings. but I fixed it. otherwise it is very sturdy and easy to assemble. love it thank you and keep up the good work. bob n.

They love it! The only thing I don't like about ...
It's a strong and durable cat post. My cats were on it before I got finished building it. They love it! The only thing I don't like about it is that when a cat sits on the top perch, the upper part of the post tilts. This is a design flaw. But otherwise, I love it! Lots of sisal for scratching!

Perfect for a Big Cat
This thing is fantastic -- ugly, for sure, but great for the cat. He was all over it while I was trying to finish the assembly -- not hard to do, but the directions are totally useless -- showed three sizes for the poles, but there are actually only two. I've got a really big Maine Coon (no papers, but he's got all the characteristics, so that's what we say he is) and he climbs up this thing in about four leaps -- digs his claws into the poles and just romps vertically upward. It shakes a little bit, but is pretty solid. There's no way he could tip it over. He loves scratching those poles, but spends most of his time on the top shelf, looking out the window. The toy was gone in about five minutes. It's a good idea, but not nearly strong enough for Solomon. I wish they offered replacements -- it has a key chain sort of chain thing that asks for another one to be put on, but I have no idea where to get one. Any help with this out there? Anyway, if you've got a big, active cat, this tree will keep him/her busy and happy for hours. Definitely worth the price.Update: I contacted the manufacturer about the toy and they sent a couple replacements and didn't even charge me -- very cool.

... is the only one that I was a little disappointed in. Mainly on the size of the platforms
This is the 3rd out of 4 cat tress I purchased from this company and this is the only one that I was a little disappointed in. Mainly on the size of the platforms, they are the smallest among all my cat trees. There is only the top perch for one big cat, and the condo for another big cat. The "steps" to the top perch cannot be used by my cats for resting and lying down because they don't fit.

Chichi Condo for Cat
She loves it! It's a bit wobbly on a carpeted floor but heavy enough that I don't worry it will tip over.
