I can literally live off this along with my Auntie's incredible homemade Bulgur Köftes, and I just bought another 10KG!, I'm all set for winter!, much better than boring tasteless white rice. I am from the island of Cyprus and bulgur has always been a staple in my mother's household and cupboard, she always used to take turns making the extra fine bulgur for my baby brother and the onion tomato or plain coarse style for me, absolutely delicious and mouth watering any which way, especially mixed with slightly stir fried or toasted şehriye ( broken 100% durum wheat Vermicelli, not the egg noodle kind ) which my mother always used in her rice, green lentil mercimekli rice, white rice especially and it always does add more of a flavoursome punch to the rice dish. Aksoy along with Duru is of the best quality cracked wheat bulgur you will find out there if you are interested in genuine high quality flavoursome Mediterranean cuisine and are tired of getting ripped off with the overpriced bland supermarket products, I recently moved away from home and I am far away from most Mediterranean supermarkets like yaşhar halim so I would like to say a big thank you to Amazon for the amazing bulk prices and availability as I can now bring the spirit of my mother's amazing cooking back into my life again.

I bought a bag of this when I couldn't find bulgur in the supermarket, and have never gone back. Despite being cheaper, the grains are big and inviting, and the taste and mouthfeel are a huge step up. I was motivated to write a review when I moved house and found a bag of supermarket bulgur in the back of the cupboard - in date - and rediscovered how small and mediocre it is compared to the Aksoy. Thank goodness it was only a small bag and I can go back to the good stuff soon!
