Definitive Board study Guide
Helps cover a wide variety of topics and appreciate the detailed explanations. Honestly I just used this and a question bank for boards and did just fine. Would recommend as part of your board studying plan or, if you are really ambitious, during your residency.

Best family medicine review book
I've used this to study for boards, and just as a general review. Enjoyable to read, well organized.

Excellent in every way. Will certainly be purchasing updated editions.
The best family medicine review I have come across in my 23 years of practice. Has none of the “fluff”, just the need-to-know material to help one pass their boards.

Slow burn vs Boards
This is a great resource to review but not for boards this is when you are maybe 2 yrs prior to the boards and want to test your knowledge and build key practical concepts. It has too much information and to be honest the questions are more conceptual and understanding based which boards don't test you on--they really want you to come up with a quick answer which you see in day to day practice or mugged up answer for things which you never see SCFE/DDH/Peds msk. I would not recommend this for board prep when you are in say 6 mths out as the information is hard to digest and revise. It may serve as a very good pre board prep book. I also think it needs to be edited as some of the material is decades old and no longer on board exams..smells of old times !

What a fantastic book, excellent content!
Graber and Wilbur's Family Medicine Examination and Board Review book is an excellent resource for family medicine practitioners and those preparing for board exams. One standout feature of this comprehensive book is its thorough coverage of rheumatology content. The authors provide in-depth explanations of rheumatologic conditions, including their clinical presentation, diagnostic evaluation, and management strategies. The content is well-organized, concise, and presented in an easy-to-understand manner, making it a valuable reference for both students and practicing physicians. Whether you are studying for board exams or seeking to deepen your knowledge of rheumatology, Graber and Wilbur's Family Medicine Examination and Board Review is a highly recommended resource.
