Great remote for seniors.
My mother's sight was failing at 98.. The remote that came with her CD player had too many teeny tiny buttons and she could no longer work her CD player. We purchased the L102 remote and after some experiments was able to program the few buttons she actually needed. The remote is inexpensive. The buttons are large and easy to see and press. It can be programmed in virtually any combination. This product enabled mom to use her player again.Put the two remotes fairly close to each other to program.

Great for use in place of a super complex remote
I have a great TV service except for the fact that the remote provided by the service company is very complex. It has so many small buttons that it is both confusing and prone to accidental errors. I am using 2 simple remotes from Chunhop to bypass this problem, RM-L7 and L 102. The RM-L7 is for most normal viewing and is simple enough for my grandkids to use. I just finished programing the L102 for use in playing recorded programs (FF through commercials). The complex remote is relegated to the back of the remote drawer to gather dust.

Works well, frustration-free, easy to use
This learning remote is kinda ugly but I already knew that from the product pictures. Can't beat the price. Clear instructions in plain English are included in the package. The functionality and ease of use are A-OK. No regrets.

Worked for my old CD Player
I got two California Audio Labs Tercet CD Players at auction. Only one came with a remote. I purchased this learning remote in hopes I would have success. I did. I was able to transfer the major commands over to this new remote. Apparently I had a heavy finger when learning the skip function, It would skip two tracks vs the intended one. I simply repeated the process for that command and did a quick press on the button and that was successful.I did try to learn the volume controls from a Rotel amplifier remote, but that didn’t work. The instructions alluded to only learning from the one remote, and that’s what happened.

Three years of use, and still going strong.
I wore out a button on my AV processor remote. So it's manufacturer was nice enough to send me a new one. Rather than take a chance that the next time I wore out a button, that the manufacturer would no longer have a remote for a discontinued model. I decided to wear out a less expensive and easier to get "learnable" remote. This remote is easy to hold, easy to find which button to push by feel, and is serviceably rugged. The only down side might be that it only "remembers" 11 functions, which probably won't match the graphics printed on the buttons surface. That said, there are "only" 11 commonly used functions to remember which button does what.Following the programing instructions is easy once they make sense to you. Three years later and I've never had to reprogram it. And after almost daily use, I think I'm still using the original batteries too.

Does Not Learn
The remote will not learn my commands. The learning process goes according to the instructions, but the commands do not work. I tried two different devices. My original remote is IR and works fine with the devices. Not sure what the problem is. Returning.

Does not learn from Sony RM-U306B remote for av receiver
This did work for a BenQ projector remote and a different Sony receiver remote. But for another Sony receiver remote, it did not work at all. The Sony remote that does not work has model number rm-u306b, and at the bottom of the remote it says Sony, then below that AV SYSTEM2.

Small size, enough buttons for most, great value. Cute little booger.
Super easy to program using the "learning " feature. Love it. Bought another as a spare.
