Item will not fit a Recreation Warehouse (Rec Whse) Waterway Flo-Pro II Model: Flo-Pro II Above Ground Skimmer. The original basket was gray in color and had a central pickup shoot when using a pool vacuum. More importantly it is 6 1/8" wide at top and the original skimmer is 6 3/16" which is needed to keep basket from falling into the assembly rather than locking in place. Placed new basket in skimmer but then have to put old one which does not float on top of new one as a temporary fix until I can get Waterway to hopefully have a correct size. Rec Whse fix is the same size as the ALADDIN so will not work. Unit was purchased in 2010 so things change over the years.

This most recent order was a re-order of a skimmer basket that had lasted 2-3 years. This basket was completely different from that first order. The plastic was of a different type and it had no little tab to help lift it out once in place. The plastic is really the problem though. One storm with leaves blown into the pool and the bottom of the skimmer basket broke through sending leave into the filter.

Sorry to say I thought I could get good quality at a low price, but I was sorely mistaken. These are my measurements but the basket does not fit correctly. And my main criticism is the plastic itself is very flimsy and so light weight that it does not stay in place in my skimmer - it floats.

This is exactly what I wanted to replace my broken/worn out basket.

This is a high quality skimmer basket. We were so glad to get this.It is less cost than our pool storeand is much higher quality. We bought another for a back-up.

After ordering two other skimmer baskets and searching various pool stores in our area, we finally have the perfect fit! Our skimmer came with the pool and there's nothing on the skimmer for identification. A few measurements later we found it on Amazon.

Very cheap plastic, bends up into the skimmer when I put on circulate. Wont stay seated on the edges. I had bought one before and it was a better plastic and about 1/8 in larger around.
