Love but….
We bought the set for my 9 year old and love it but found it $80 cheaper at Dick’s like the day after I ordered it. Wish I would have went there first.

Great choice
This gear is top of the line. Chest protector is firm and gives great protection of the heart. Shin guards feel great and have gel cups in the knee area. Purchased the 9 to 12 year old size, athlete is 4'5" and 90 pounds; fits well, we needed to adjust all straps to the smallest setting. Youth helmet is small...called Sports Unlimited to exchange and they were very unprofessional and unwilling to help. I ended up calling All Star Sports directly and they were more than willing to assist me. I would recommend not using Sports Unlimited and just ordering directly from All Star Sports. 4 stars because the helmet was to small and the company was awful to deal with. Although, again....Amazon and All Star Sports made it right.

Size 9-12 All-Star Youth System7 Axis Catchers Set
10 year old son tried on every brand catchers gear and this is the only one he liked. The back of the chest protector has a wide band instead of skinny straps. He is 10 yo, 4’ 9”, 95 lbs and the youth 9-12 fits great with lots of room to grow. He has used it during practice, for rec ball games and for travel ball games for 10 months with no issues. I would recommend and will be buying the next size up once he outgrows this size.The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the helmet is small and very tight.

Worth every penny
My son LOVES his new gear. So much padding and protection in all the right places. It not only is comfortable and protective but gave him such a confidence boost as well with how safe he feels in it.

This is definitely for a LARGE ADULT not youth.

Top of the line gear
Purchased for our 10 year old son, he plays travel and little league. The clips on the chest guard are a bit challenging but I'm sure they will get easier the more he uses it. Gear looks very well made and will last for years. I wouldn't bother with paying extra for shipping, it made no difference in delivery date.
