NaturesPeck Dried Black Soldier Fly Larvae 22 lbs.

Bought this for my daughter to give a treat to her chickens. The chickens love them. They are a good value and they arrived on time.

My wild turkey friends love the fly larvae. The bag lasts me many months, depending on how often the turkeys come by. You can't beat the amount you get in the bag compared to the smaller bags in the big box stores.

The BSFL are much better now than they were 2 years ago, when I first purchased BSFL from Nature’s Peck. For their product sales picture they filled a bag with perfect age, and color, BSFL for feeding...yours will likely be mixed 50% with older, black, less palatable, BSFL. The 11lb. bag, unfortunately, doesnt come with a resealable bag as their old product did. That said, they are edible and even my picky hen enjoys the tan BSFL. Dried BSFL used for feed should ALL be tan, not black, as the older black soldier larvae form a paper-like interior and they dry into a shell with hardly any meat, and the animals do not enjoy them very much...but they’ll eat them. 4 stars because they are pretty good, fairly priced, and I love bulk! -1 star for the product picture being dishonest and for not having a resealable bag.

My chickens love these. Due to predator problem my girls are confined to the the 20x30 fenced yard and and no longer free range. This product provides a good alternative.

I order and it takes a couple days to receive it, Just an amazing customer service that is on the ball. Best mealworms for the price and won't go anywhere else!

Chickens and geese love them! Best bang for your buck anywhere I could find!
