Omg this thing is AWESOME! I have a German Shepherd/Husky Mix who is just over a year old who is really a good boy but has some bad habits-Jumping on strangers(& us sometimes when he’s super excited), Chasing and harassing the cats (We have 3 and they don’t particularly care for the wolf-boy), Tries to bolt out the front door when we are coming and/or going, We have to hold him back if anybody knocks on the door...insert Wild Animal here...and last but not least throw in a little food Aggression (Ok maybe a lot of food aggression...he’ll straight take an arm off if you try and take his food...). You get the picture...He’s a handful, BUT we love him lol. I was literally at my wits end & have been considering hiring a specialist to help us because I just can’t give up on this dude! But I would have ended up paying way too much money for that. So I finally saw an add about this training tool and I could not be happier!!! Used properly, this thing stops my 80+ pound beast dead in his tracks. The effect it has seems to Snap him out of the bad behavior like a wake up call. He instantly submits and awaits the next command and a treat or a hearty “Good Boy”. I want to thank the creators for this tool that has given us the ability to train the family friendly pet we’ve been working so hard for!On another note; after reading several dissatisfied comments about this tool make noises or not working at all, there are a few things I would suggest:1. Be sure to remove the plastic wrapping from the battery included before trying to insert it. I almost missed it myself and wondered if maybe some of the folks who left bad reviews did too lol2. There are really no instructions included but basically once you have the battery inserted properly, be sure you move the switch to Trainer position and only press and release the button while pointed directly at the dog. The “sound” can only be heard while the button is pressed. I literally only have to press and release the button once to get his attention.3. You SHOULD NOT hear anything from this device. If you do...something is wrong lol

It didn’t work and it was put back in box and taken to ups store where I returned everything! I’m sorry you did not receive it but it was returned! Do not charge me for this item! I don’t feel like it my fault you did not receive this item

The device does work. When I go to answer the door, my dogs will not get out if I use it. I am 80 years old, very slow getting to the door, and the dogs get to the door before I do and dash out when I open the door. Needless to say, they do not come back in when I call and I have nobody to go out and chase them. Also, when I need to make a phone call, they start barking when I start talking---the bark stopper keeps them quiet until I am finished with my call. A down side: my son wants me to quit "tormenting" the dogs! Does this device actually hurt them?

I love this thing! I have a little yapping min- pin that barks like crazy at everything and a big pit bull who sometimes aggressively barks when he’s territorial. I had been trained to use e-collars on then to stop these behaviors but I don’t like using it bc it’s painful and they can’t wear these bulky collars 24/7. This sound device is great bc it doesn’t hurt then and it’s easily accessible to push the button when the barking is out of control. They stop barking immediately and calm right down. It really gets their attention. I’ve only had it for a few days and used it about 6 times and they are already curbing the aggressive barking when people come to the door or walk past the fence. Well worth it.Update: I did like this thing a couple of days ago but the button got stuck today when I pushed it so I had to quickly rip out the batteries out. The button is now jammed. I’m returning it. Let’s see if they send another one. If not I’ll just buy a better quality one as I do like the effectiveness on the dogs barking too much.

Purchased the first one and loved it! The button broke within a week, but after contacting customer service, they sent a replacement and we were back in business. I have 3 dogs, who bark. When we introduced this to them, they quit barking. Now we just have to “show” them the device and that seems to deter them from barking. As a back up, hit the button. Would recommend for the price and the overall value of the device.

This item worked great for the first few days. Then our dog, all of sudden, just stopped responding to it. Since only dogs, not humans, can hear it, I’m assuming it has broken somewhere inside the speaker and that’s why the dog doesn’t respond to it anymore. Forget the lights - that won’t do a thing - our dog never responded to them. At least the lights show you that the problem isn’t the batteries. Summary: No clue how to fix it or why it broke; worked great at first but only lasted a few days; initially worth the money (vs other trainers) but not ultimately NOT worth the money. Maybe you’ll have better luck.

I bought this because of my dog's excessive barking. When I press the button an ultrahigh sound that only a dog can hear beeps. It stops my dog from barking. At the same time I say no and if he listens then I praise him. If he continues I hit the button again and that usually fixes it. Then I tell him good boy and pet the crap out of him. He's getting to where I don't need to use it all the time which is great! I take him to doggy day care and let the owner use it and she says it works on all of her dogs. Helps when one is picking on another. She says sometimes all she has to do is show it and they stop their bad behavior. I've spent over $1K with training trying to fix this problem and nothing has worked. THIS HAS WORKED. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!

I just took the item out of the box, put the battery in and the lid won't close. I took the battery out rearrangled the cord that connects the 9volt battery - the lid won't close. I tried and tried. I didn't want to break it. I took the battery out and replaced it with a different one, the lid closes, but doesn't stay closed. The slighest bump or shift and it pops open. I guess I can tape it but I shouldn't have to - CHEAPLY made ! Very DISAPPOINTED !! Buy at your own risk.
