As a super finicky person I am surprisingly pleased with this item. It wouldn't pair while charging but, unlike a previous reviewer posted, you CAN plug it into a charger and use it once it is already paired. Another feature I didn't see in the description but was pleased to discover is that you can double click the play button to ignore a call. I like that the clip swivels so you can have the cord/buttons oriented to your liking. A tiny led flashes green when battery is over 90%, yellow between 10%-90%, red below 10%, blue if its visible to other bluetooth users because two devices can be connected to it... Just so people can mess with you?, and purple if there is an incoming call... Just in case you can't hear the ringing? Or Sony just wanted to show off more colors for any reason and that is totally something I can get behind no matter how useless the feature! The bass is just fine, true it's no subwoofer but its definitely better than your average car radio. The range is great at 10-15ft and still worked at 30ft but only if I stayed reaaallly still... A little spotty but good if u walk out of range for a quick minute and don't want to deal with reconnecting the device. Well worth the $30 if you're on a budget but can afford a small luxury such as this. UPDATE: After using this for about 25 hours per week for the past 9 months it started randomly pausing itself and will occasionally, sometimes often, beep at me as if I were going out of range even though I'm only a couple foot away from the device that it is connected to. Still worth it in my opinion.

I was looking for some bluetooth headphones to wear while biking. Initially I was trying to decide between the Motorola S11 Flex HD and Jaybird Bluebuds X, but I found it hard to justify the cost. Then I came across this product at a fraction of the cost and decided to go for it. I'm very happy with my purchase - here's why: - The receiver gets plenty loud, and the audio quality is good. My LG G2 has a poor headphone amp, and the audio over bluetooth is a huge improvement. - The headphones sound good enough for athletic use, and I can plug in a better set if I'm in the mood for more refined listening. - With the receiver clipped onto my shirt there is no weight or distraction. I can pull out my phone without worrying about tugging, which is a much bigger relief than I realized it would be. - The clip is reversible, but I didn't think to check at first. I had the receiver clipped upside down for a couple days, but eventually figured it out :) Finally, I've been in the market for a bluetooth receiver I could use as a bridge to the aux-in jack on my car for a while. Eventually I will get a new car and this won't matter, but I love that I can leave the receiver plugged in in my car and not have to fiddle with cables to listen to music from my phone. In this situation in particular the quality is fantastic - the improvement from the headphone amp on my phone means I don't have to have the volume on my car maxed, and the overall sound profile is much improved. It's nice to have the headroom. In hindsight, getting an integrated set from Motorola or Jaybird would have been a bad decision for me. I wouldn't have the bonus ability to use bluetooth in my car, and I would be in constant fear of losing or breaking such expensive equipment. I'm very comfortable and satisfied with the much cheaper and more useful Sony set here. Highly recommend.

My second purchase of this model. Last ones lasted a little over a year, but honestly, that is good enough for me given the daily abuse they get. Headset is made to be attached up around the collar sleeve, or shirt pocket, which explains the design of the earbud cord. The right earbud cord is shorter than the left so it is meant to go around the neck line to reach both ears. Sound quality is superb with the included earbud BTW, though they are a little on the frail side. As long as they don't get beat around too hard, they should last quite a while. Good advantage to this style is that the headphones can be swapped out easily with a different set of so desired. Can be paired with two devices simultaneously and does a good job at managing both. If I'm watching a movie on my tablet and my smartphone rings, it will move the audio over to my phone automatically to take the call. Very handy. Pairing is pretty simple. Just hold down the call button until the light flashes blue then connect to it with your device. Range is acceptable at around 60 ft LoS. If I get out of range it will re-connect automatically when I get back most of the time. Button placement is great. Volume rocker and power button on the edge, while the button to answer you phones is on the front along with the track skip buttons. If <$50 is all you're looking to spend for bluetooth headphones that are a household brand, look no further.

Yo compre este auricular, pero lo que planeaba hacer era sustituir los audífonos que traía por unos de "on-ear" (los de "diadema", los que uso regularmente), porque no soy adepto de la calidad que pueden ofrecer este tipo de audífonos ("ear-buds" les dicen, creo...) la verdad es que ya llevaba como una seman usando con los otros y estaba a punto de tirar los ear-buds, y fue cuando me sorprendieron y me devolvieron la fe en los audífonos "ear-buds" Me ha gustado mucho, la autonomía es bastante aceptable (6-8 hrs aproximadamente) y la calidad del sonido es impresionante, se escucha bastante bien con los ear-buds que trae, pero si utilizas audífonos que permiten mejor calidad de sonido, esta también mejora, la gama de sonidos que es capaz de reproducir es magnifica, no se dejen engañar por el rango que pone el fabricante, se escucha realmente bien (rango de respuesta 20 - 20000 Hz), los graves se escuchan como deberían y los agudos son sin distorsión, ofrece calidad estero sin problemas. Definitivamente una excelente compra, lo recomiendo ampliamente

Esté dispositivo es el segundo que compro porque el otro lo perdí. Al principio estaba motivado por adquirir uno de gama más alta sin embargo por mis necesidades descubrí que no requería tanto aparato. Es muy sencillo de usar, la batería dura 4-6 hrs. Mas o menos me dura la pila cinco días. Lo uso principalmente para escuchar música y muy poco para hablar por teléfono. Otra gran ventaja es que gracias a su entrada de 3.5 mm cualquier audífonos le quedan aunque los que trae incluidos tienen muy buena calidad. Si dispones de un estereo, bocina, etc. Le conectas el cable auxiliar al dispositivo y ya lo conviertes en Bluetooth, muy conveniente cuándo andas de fiesta. En conclusión, si buscas un Bluetooth headset muy económico, sencillo de usar y respaldado por Sony, esté es tú mejor opción.

Llevo cinco meses usándolo y sólo he encontrado un par de detalles que hacen que no le dé las cinco estrellas. 1 Duración de la batería. El volumen es directamente proporcional a la duración de la batería. Si bien prometen 5 horas de uso continuo, esa duración se ve disminuida cuando subo el volumen al nivel 5 (tiene 7 niveles) Aunque para no dañar mis oídos, trato de no usarlo con volumen alto. No he tenido oportunidad de probarlo como manos libres, es decir, traerlo encendido todo el día a la espera de contestar una llamada, pero creo que no consume mucha batería en modo de espera, todo el tiempo acostumbro apagarlo del botón de encendido que trae a un lado, y cuando lo vuelvo a encender, se conecta solo. 2 Teclas algo duras. Las teclas deberían tener muescas para identificar qué botón estamos presionando. Es molesto estar a tientas a ver qué botón es el que cambia a la pista siguiente y aún peor, que esté algo duro. Del tiempo que llevo usándolo no se han aflojado, pero ya me acostumbré a presionarlas fuerte para que hagan su función. Y pues un plus del que tampoco estoy muy satisfecho y lo primero que noté al recibirlo, es que no venía sellado con holograma, traía una especie de calcomanía transparente que sellaba la caja, pero me quedó la duda si efectivamente era un artículo original, pude comprobar que sí sólo por el cargador que trae, porque el de mi teléfono es idéntico. De ahí en más es excelente, calidad de audio como si fuera de cables, a lo que nos tiene acostumbrados la marca y se carga rápido también, algo muy útil cuando olvidas hacerlo y llevas prisa. Tuve que hacerle un nudo al cable de los audífonos de tal manera que no estorben mucho, porque está un poco largo, todo depende de dónde se ancle el clip.

Ame estos audífonos, sony siempre es sinónimo de calidad, tienen una excelente definición y un buen alcance de bluetooth. Puedo poner a cargar mi celular y escuchar música al mismo tiempo, además la batería dura en promedio 4 horas de uso continuo. Y además viene en bonitos colores, yo me compré el negro y uno rosado y naranja para regalar a mis primas.

Es muy facil de usar y sincronizar, pero mi unica queja es sobre los botones de cambio; son muy duros y dificiles de presionar, así como la ubicación de los botones de volumen no son los mejores. En general es muy funcional y cumple su trabajo.
