Worked wonders for me, I highly recommend.
First of all make sure that you get the product you ordered. The Vitamin Shoppe number is VS-1233/1041783 and the ingredients list Lactobacillus acidophilus. Some of the reviews merely point out that the reviewer received the wrong product which is unfortunate, but since the correct product is excellent it is a shame that it has the appearance of a number of bad reviews.I am 49 years old and I have mild digestive issues. This product worked wonders for me. I would especially recommend it for anyone who wants to get rid of yeast overgrowth issues and seed their digestive tract with good bacteria. What a lot of people don't realize is that bacteria thrive on fiber and high-fiber foods whereas the bad organisms such as yeast don't. Yeast prefers sugar, as all brewers know. For this reason, sometimes fiber is referred to as "prebiotic" since it feeds the probiotics. These capsules very logically combine the two elements for healthy digestion. Please give this product a try, just make sure to take with a large amount of water.

Was not a huge fan- different effect than metamucil.
I had read on the vitamin shoppe website that these helped someone with IBS issues but not me. Metamucil usually calms my stomach but for some reason this brand was not helpful with that. I would say these probably relieve constipation and not really add bulk to stool.

Product shown is not the product you receive
The picture shown (that of which I thought I was ordering) is not the product I received. The product received was Psyllium Husk only (not with the added acidophilus). Disappointed - does not work as well as product shown in photo. Misleading.

It's good tho
It's a good product, tho I also like brands that have acidophilus too, so I use both.
