You can use on floors
Someone wrote you can not use on floors. My floors are 140 years old and now refinished with Timbermate filling the missing wood. Don't be fooled by color as it dries -- once you wax or seal the color darkens to the color in the container. I mixed black and brown together to conform to my floors. It is water soluble so I do not know how well it will work with water base coating. I have been using Timbermate for years on many wood items. One of the advantages of water base is it will reconstitute. If it dries in the container just add a little warm water.

Awesome filler
This wood filler matches well, dries fast, easy to sand, and stains well. I have even sanding over it immediately to add sawdust to it as it dries. Great product

Fine product
Fine product. Applies well, short dry time, sands easily. I like that it can be revived with water as it dries in the container.

Amazing!
This stuff is awesome! As a professional finish carpenter I use this often in alder, white oak and walnut with great results. If it gets hard its easy to just add a little water to make it workable again! Works well in nail holes and small blemishes. We primarily use it for raw wood trim install that will receive stain & finish onsite

Excellent wood filler
Great product...much better than any other I have found...although slightly more expensive, it is worth the extra cost. It take stain and oil well, although you will always be much happier if you find the color matching the wood rather than trusting the natural to accept the stain or oil (I use Danish Oil for color for all my wood projects rather than stain).

Great product!
This is by far the best wood putty I have ever used. Stays playable clear to the end of the bottle. Easy to work with stains great.

WOW... JUST WOW!
OK, I've been doing a lot of work with Knotty Alder lately and have been looking for a decent filler to hide all the stuff I do wrong when building something. I have tried at least $50 worth of stuff from the big box stores and nothing really matched well. Now, full disclosure, I finish all my alder with BLO (Boiled Linseed Oil) as my first coat and SealCoat on top of that and then I usually tone it with Minwax Hickory Gel Stain and then finish with Poly. Your results may very if you have a different finishing technique than this. This is nearly a perfect match. The only thing that comes this close is the wood glue and sander dust mix. Also, this is the easiest to apply of everything I've ever tried before. Also, I've read that if it starts to dry out, just add a little water, since it's water based.
