Battery is lighter and easier to handle on long jobs
I use the battery in my weed whacker and chain saw primarily. I bought the 2.5 because its lighter then the 5.0 and thus easier to handle on big jobs.

Ego battery powered lawn equipment is the way to go.
I had all gas power yard equipment switched all to ego power equipment. And I’m sure glad I did better quality I believe then the stihl I owned.

Storage of battery
Can now mow most of my yard on 1 charge. It does charge quite rapidly

Batteries are known for failing
Ego brand batteries are notorious for failing, especially those made in 2020. Don't know whether these battery's quality has improved in the last year or two or not. Also, their customer service is terrible, so don't expect them to be of much help when trying to replace in-warranty batteries unless you don't mind callbacks four days later. It's a shame that their batteries have overshadowed such a good product line of yard tools.
