These night stands are beautiful, and they are perfect for our bedroom
These night stands are beautiful, and they are perfect for our bedroom. I have been looking for night stands for a long time. We needed three drawers and we have a small room so they had to be tall and more narrow. We also wanted real wood furniture, not some ridiculously high priced pressed saw dust or man made rubber wood like substance that may or may not resemble wood. These are wood and are perfect for the price! The directions are a very simple diagram and easy to follow. It calls for two men, a hammer and screw driver (or one extremely persistent 57 year old female DIY maniac);) The most difficult part was attaching the back onto the nightstand. The first nightstand took me about 5 hours to put together, but the second one took only about 2-1/2 hours. The thing is that you must know how to swing a hammer and hit tiny nails without smashing your fingers and use a phillips screw driver. This company is very good to deal with. One of the drawers were missing the guide rails and when I let them know they were right on it. I had a set of rails at my home in about 3 or 4 days. They were kind and apologized for the inconvenience, and I do appreciate that. And that's it. I would order from this company again.

Nice piece of furniture, excellent value
I spent hours looking at many potential options before buying this. Here is what I observed:Packing: Perfect. Double boxed, foam slipsheets between each piece, perfectly nested. No damage at all.Inventory: All pieces were there. No extra hardware, no missing hardware or pieces.Assembly: I have put together many pieces of furniture over the years from Ikea, Bush and Sauder. This took me about 2 hours, mostly learning. If I did this again I could do it in an hour. While screws were self tapping, for some I pre-drilled starter holes. Directions showed clear diagrams of how everything goes together, no mysteries. The pictures of someone putting screws in on all sorts of angles and in the wrong places are hilarious. If you never used a hammer or screwdriver, I would recommend you have someone else do this for you.Odor: Minimal. I almost did not buy this because of the one review who said this was a huge issue. Yes, there was some odor when I was building this, which dissipated after a couple of hours. I'll put it this way--my wife is very sensitive to odors. Without mentioning anything, I put this on my side of our king bed and she never noticed a scent.Quality---excellent. The same reviewer mentioned this was "soft" wood. Most of it is pine. While not a hardwood, I would not call it soft by any means. Pine is pine. Easier to put screws into, and it does not dent. Yes, the sides are a good thickness of plywood, but match perfectly and are thick and quite sturdy. All four sides of the drawers and the top are solid wood. Drawer bottoms had no issue with me filling the drawer with books. Conclusion: For the money, I don't think you can do any better. You can buy cheaper do-it-yourself furniture, but you get what you pay for. This is something that will last for years.

Great product but a little difficult to assemble because there are no pilot holes.
This is a great product. All the parts fit well and the instructions were easy to follow. The only issue I had was tightening the screws as there were no pilot holes so I had to put a lot of pressure on each screw to start it. Other than that it looks nice and works really well.

Surprizingly nice.
Made in Brazil. I put two of these together and I couldn't be more impressed with the result for the price. The instructions were clearer than most. I actually had extra fasteners left over. It is indeed solid wood construction but the facing pieces are a nice veneer over glued pieces which you can see when looking on the edge. There is no need to drill anything as someone previously mentioned. The screws enter the wood easily as it is quite soft. No the wood is not hardwood or ever hard pine, but it is all wood and the finished product is beautiful, very sturdy and very functional with three deep drawers which operate smoothly. It came very well packed. No, you don't need to be a carpenter or to drill pilot holes, you just need a little patience and common sense.

Good product. Easy assembly with issues.
As a 50-year-old male with experience assembling similar furniture, I found this project easy but with issues. The box was impossible to open without destroying it. There was plenty of quality hardware with random extra screws included. Assembly only required a hammer and screwdriver, although I would highly recommend using an electric screwdriver as there are over 60 screws to install. The illustrated directions are easy to understand. There are no written instructions. So be highly conscious of what the illustrations are showing.Step 3: Directions show to place the partially assembled product on blocks; double stacking parts 1 and 2 provides the perfect height and does not damage the parts.Step 4: The backboard (part 15) requires eighteen nails to be hammered into a very narrow ledge. It would have been beneficial to have markings on part 15 to indicate the specific line the nails need to be placed upon. Be cautious the nails are driven straight so as not to deviate from the narrow ledge.Step 5: Pilot holes would have been helpful so as not to split the soft wood. Pay particular attention to the orientation of parts throughout this step. The A42 screws need to finish flush so the drawers roll smoothly. The nightstand's design exceeded other similar products. It is sturdy and should last a long time.

Good value for the money!
Ok so here is the good and bad. While assembling I noticed a few things. Most but not all of the peices were straight some were bowed or had a slight twist. The drawer sides seem to be a little thin on a couple of peices because the wood split on three of them. Doesn't really matter because it was on a non essential part of the drawer slide and didn't weaken the part at all. These are what you pay for. Not heavy duty but they are fairly sturdy and they look nice. Took me a couple of hours each to assemble I bought 4 peices.
