They were too big for what I needed them for. The rating is for the price. I ended up going to the grocery story and buying the Crystal brand appetizer plate and it was the same thickness and everything. Cost $3 for a pack. So basically you're paying for the name Lomey. I used the appetizer plates with the rest of the lomey system and it worked perfectly fine with my Eiffel tower vase arrangements at my wedding.
