This tool is absolutley FANTASTIC!
I absolutely LOVE this tool! So many have complained about it but I have found it to be fantastic! #1 I does not leave any residue; #2. I use an old fashioned cardboard nail file to clean it. Lightly pass the tip over the surface turning it around to get to the whole surface; #3. Use the side rather then the tip to pick up and put down the drills. I wish you were not limited to purchasing only 3, but I am still on my 1st one and have been using it for over a week, daily.

I don't know why I waited so long!
Sue here. I have been a card maker for 15+ years and have been getting by with other tools, commercial and DIY, for handling gems and other bling to put on my creations. None of them work as well as this beauty from Uchida. All it takes is a gentle touch and it picks up, then releases when I touch it to the glue spot on the card just as easily. No residual smudges are left behind as seen with other tools. If you are heavy handed, beware. This tool does require a light touch. I haven't used it enough to have to wash the tip yet so I am not giving it 5 stars. I can assure you that I am using more bling than I have in the past just because I like the way this tool performs.

Good tool for card making as well as jewelry.
This product has helped me with small pieces, like sequins & jewels to add to cards or art projects.

Frequent cleaning required
The product works great when it is clean. It loses its stickiness quickly. I found that washing it with liquid hand soap, and letting it air dry, helps it regain its stickiness.

Works good
I make cards and use this to add sequins and other embellishments to them. It's a good little tool. The end is just sticky enough to pick things up and not so sticky that I can't release the things where I want.
