The Army Painter Battlefield Essential Series: Brown Battleground Miniature Basing Sand, 150 ml

The Army Painter basing materials have nice color and texture and come in a wide variety. These are great for miniature basing. The realistic look of the bases when using these products makes your minis and models look outstanding.

First off these army painter products are always a wonderful addition to my 35-50 mm characters. They provide a wonderful change to the stranger bases provided by crisis protocol, shatterpoint, cyberpunk, or warhammer. It’s also very easy to use with just normal, white model glue. The colors and textures are great but the sizes are all very similar in this box. I suggest getting a couple other types in addition to get a varied look.

I love these! I just wish they came in more colors. That being said, they do hold paint well. They stick using pva glue with only minor touch ups needed after the initial coat.

Great for the details

Great material to give your base/diorama a textured effect. Perfect dirt effect for large scale terrain. When used on smaller bases the individual pieces can be out of proportion to the character and look like they are walking over a really rough path of rocks instead of dirt. This can be diminished some by painting the base an earthy color first. This is really only apparent when looking closely. From tabletop distance, it won't show.

Works good. A good basic basing for war game models. Could use some more variation for a really fancy base but very nice all the same when your doing many orks.

Dans un vase de décoration, je mets du sable fin de trois couleurs allant de l'ocre au brun foncé, dans une espèce de dégradé. Il me manquait justement ce brun-là. Le plus, est la finesse du grain. J'ai obtenu un superbe effet et j'en suis absolument ravie !

Bella, realistica e ideale per le miniature fantasy. Non troppo economica, ma la scatola dura tantissimo

bought with a green on also..took about a 1/4 of each and mixed looks great with all 3 on a large battle map i built.. use with modpog and it stick well.. I also let dry for a day then coat with a spray clear and have no issued with shedding. i have made many homemade flock and this is by far better looking.. looks very well on mini bases.

Looks nice, but it was broken when it arrived. Thankfully it was packaged well so I could collect most of it. Might not be the sellers fault though.
