Aran Woollen Mills Inisheer Men’s Irish Cable Crew Neck Knit Sweater – 100% Merino Wool

Purchased this sweater for my son. He absolutely loves it despite his mental faculty slowly withering away. It’s beautifully made, and he loves the softness and it’s authentic Irish design.

This Cable Knit Sweater is perfect. It’s as quality is what I’d expect from Aran Island mills. I bought my first one when I visited their factory almost 40 years ago, and I still wear that sweater. I have no doubt that I’ll be wearing this sweater 40 years from now.

Nice looking. High quality. I indicated that the sweater fits "as but I expected." If you look at the pic of the model, you see it is has a comfortable, loose fit and looks great at the same time. The people from The Irish Store are also very nice to work with. They were able to advise me about what size would fit me. i had to wait a little while because my size was not available but they explained everything and the sweater was delivered after about a week. It was really worth waiting for. I'm sure I will buy another one of these. The natural wool color is beautiful. Very warm and very well made. I'm 100% satisfied and recommend whole heartedly.

Gift for my husband. Fit is great and it is very well made. However, it smells atrocious when washed....

If you’re looking for an Aran patterned Irish sweater, this is the perfect place to get one. There are several places where you can find this sweater but it costs much more. Merino wool is the premium wool known for its softness and color richness. I had thought that I would knit a sweater for my husband but the yarn was going to cost over $200, which makes this sweater a bargain. I got the blue one which is a gray-blue shade and a lovely color for any man. My husband will love this Irish sweater for Christmas.

This sweater was a gift to my husband and it fits very well. True to size. It is well made and thick. Not too thick though. It will keep him warm when needed and looks real nice. Can be easily dressed up with a shirt and tie underneath.

Outstanding Irish sweater

I ordered an adult medium but received, what can only be described as, a children’s small. It might fit a 3 year old child. It’s too much of a pain to return it so it will be donated to my local shelter.

A peine reçu je l'ai essayé et comme il fait très froid, j'ai pu vérifier tout de suite la qualité. Effectivement, créé une sensation de chaleur immédiatement mais sans transpirer. Très léger et seyant à souhait comme tenue un peu décontractée (pour une femme j'entends). Je sens qu'il va faire partie intégrante de ma garde robe cet hiver. Et pour les randonnées, je vais l'essayer sans tarder. Bravo !!!
