A Conversation, Book 1: English in Everyday Life, 4th Edition

my students love this book! They range from 9 years old to 65 years old and they love the pictures and real conversation dialogues.

Book is received in a good condition. But for the listening part, where should I get those tracks since my book comes without any CD. Is there any website link that I can listen to those listening script? This book is for my English tutoring.

Looks good to me. It is the next step for my ESL student. I haven't tried it yet.

Great book for beginners' conversations. Used this book in my ESL teaching for many years.

This looks like a wonderful choice for our once-a-week ESL conversation classes taught by volunteers! However, in the description it says "The student-centered text and audio teach the vocabulary and life skills necessary for natural communication" - but sadly there was no CD with this text, even though it was brand new. Quite disappointing when a good part of the lessons are listening to the CDs. The Listening Practice dialogues, however, are printed in the back if you want to record them yourself.

I'm sorry, I actually wrote a review for this book that I emant to write for another one. I really LOVE this text. I can and will use it for my classroom and the seller was polite, quick, and helpful

Humorous drawings; variety of topics; basic, solid, useful vocabulary. I've used this book (and others in same series) for several years as a basis for the ESL classes I teach.

Used stickers should not be glued on the book!! The book was in a little worst condition that I exexpected. I used this book to teach a class.

This volume does not meet my expectations completely. I think that it presents a good choice of topics, but with a too basic vocabulary. The exercises are very ordinary and repetitive. The CD contains almost only childish songs, and it makes this book quite useless for anyone who desires to study on their own. My opinion is that this book is not worth its price.
