Basic bicycle tools, everyone needs.
Needed the chain tool and I now know I definitely need a new chain, the chain breaker needs to be used with care as the chain separation ridges are easy to damage, screw the handle clockwise then unwind anticlockwise gradually and repeat. The pliers are well made and sturdy, all in all a good purchase.

Mixed bag
If you bought this primarily for the chain link pliers, you'll probably find it 4/5 stars. If your main concern was the chain splitter, you're looking at 0/1. The former's fine, and is possibly worth the price of the entire kit, but the latter is utterly hopeless. Good luck with extracting even a single rivet before its wrecked. Try something from Park Tools instead.

Not robust enough
Looks good enough but not up to the job - like others have said. We managed to use the tool to remove one link, then the threads gave way and the handle broke off. Luckily we could take the chain off and remove the tool which was by that point stuck on halfway into pushing out a pin.As we bought it a while ago but only just needed to use it not much chance of a refund either.

Poor Chain Splitter
Chain splitter is not effective or durable.Pin end is flat so wanders around on chain pin.Screw thread is off axis so impossible to align on chain.Thread stripped after 3 uses

Badly made and weak
What a pathetic piece of engineering!The screw thread for pushing chain pins through was so badly fitting it threaded on first use. The insert pin that actually pushes the chain pin through is such a poor fit it bends sideways and doesn’t push the pin straight. The little lugs the chain sits on are thin and weak and bent easily.In the end, having bent and threaded the tool just getting one pin half out, I had to re-join the chain with a set of mole grips.Don’t buy this. Pay up for a better engineered version.
