The elastic in the waistband is excellent - comfortable and durable - provided the right size is selected. My husband wears these pants daily as a PE teacher and they have held up through multiple washes. I would HIGHLY recommend this product.

I bought 2xlt and mine are too short. I'm 6'4, 240. Too tight as well. 2 xlt would and should fit me well.
