Pant-astic
These pants are really well made. My husband has a towing business and is always crawling around on the ground in bad conditions and hydraulic oil. They are very functional with all of the pockets and they are really sharp looking. We did have to exchange them for a larger size. You may want to size up because they have a slim build. We will definitely be purchasing another pair in the future.

Great pants!
The material is durable but nice and light. The external tool pockets tucking into the pants pockets nicely if you don't need to carry tools in them. Those tool pockets are also removable. The waste bans had a rubberized coating to help hold you shirt inside, which is very nice. These are thw most comfortable work pants that I own. The fit is nice, for a work pant I usually over size one size for comfort but that is just my preference. Tge waste band also had some stretchiness to it with is nice. These pants are thin for hot weather and quick drying. There is no lining to trap moisture however they have extra durable materials on the knees, knee pad pockets, and reinforcement just about everywhere you normally see wear. I highly recommend these pants!

Love these pants!
I work in telecom and have tried every pair of pants known to man. All of my Carhart pants fit well, but all end up tearing the fabric in the same spot after less than 6 months or so. So far, these pants have held up much better, and are very easy to keep clean. These pants are incredibly comfortable! They don’t bind in the crotch at all and the fabric is both cool in warm weather, but warm in cold weather but very lightweight. The best thing I can say is you don’t feel them while climbing, kneeling and such like I always did with others. I also really like the grippers around the waistband as it really does help keep your shirt tucked in. The built in tool pouches seemed kind of gimmicky, but after using them, they are very convenient, and seem to hold up well to screws and other items. The knee pad pockets are a wonderful for those of us getting older and kneeling on herd surfaces. You don’t even need the fancy knee pads, I just cut some foam pads I had to fit and they work great. Will definitely be getting another pair.

Not true to size otherwise perfect.
These pants are very durable and of very high quality. They have a lot pockets to carry any accessories that you might want. They are also comfortable, however, unfortunately I had to deduct one star from this review because they are not true to size. I ordered the 36 x 34 and they fit me as though they were a 34 x 34. I don't like to return things, so I guess this is extra motivation for me to lose some weight!

Great work pants, No color variety!
My favorite work pants by far are the H2O Defender pants from Caterpillar. THE ONLY thing I have a problem with is I can’t find them anywhere else but here and they don’t have more colors. The colors they do have are most always sold out. Pretty ridiculous on Caterpillars part.

Great for physical and dirty work.
I work outside 70% of the time at my current job. I bought these for those days when its a mist to light spotty rain. They do deflect a good amount of LIGHT exposure to rain. When it pours I doubt they would keep you really dry and I have not put them to that test. I would be in wet pants the rest of the work day if they failed. During heavy rains, I don't work or I put on a rain suit. PROS-- Tough material that should stand up to abuse well. Also somewhat water resistant. --- Fit exactly as sized. I'm a 36w 32L in virtually every pant known, I ordered that size and it fit perfectly. ----Knee's are reinforced and have knee pad pockets. If you kneel at work, get the pads! I stuffed some off brand pads in to try out and they worked ok. ----- Cool pocket pouches that turn into instant light duty tool rigs. ------reinforced cuffs that should extend pant's life CONS ---So far only one and that is the material holds a static charge. I worked in a dirty persons house who had multiple shedding animals and had given up on vacuuming. I was covered in pet hair when I completed my job. I had to use 5 sheets on a lint roller to de-hair the pants. Something about the material makes hair, sawdust, regular dust and just about any air borne particle stick to them. I have only worn and washed them once, so maybe that will change, but I think it has something to do with the waterproofing of the fabric. I bought one pair to try out, I'll be buying more.

Fantastic work pants
These pants are great. Very comfortable, they don't fall down, they are LONG, and they have a ton of storage in very useable places. I've only had them a month or so, but the durability seems great. One of my complaints with other work pants was always storage location. Sometimes the pockets are just too high up to be easily used. That is not the case with these. The phone pocket is in a great location and the clip on tool bags are so handy. When I'm done working, I can just unclip them and set them aside for the next day. Finally, it's awesome they make these in 36 length. Other brands stop at 34 or even 32. I'm 6'3, so getting the knee pads in the right place and keeping my socks covered when I bend down is critical. Highly recommend (even if the price is tough to swallow. buy once cry once I guess.

I been buying working uniforms since forever. This is by far one of the best ones i ever used, the brown one might look good but who cares, it is for work. Good product, lasts for years.

These Caterpillar H20 Work Pants fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable. They are water resistant, the material is tough and rugged, knee pad pockets are set at the right height and the rubber gripper sewn into the inside of the pant's waistband keeps your shirt tucked in and stops the pants from sliding down when carrying heavy tools in the tool pockets. Overall, the best work pants I have ever worn and they feel good on too. But, just so you now, these pants are not flameproof or fire resistant, I was doing a little welding and then grinding the welds and the hot sparks from the grinding wheel burned a small 1/2" hole in the bottom of the pant leg cuff - but no one stated or advertise that these work pants are flame resistant, so all is good. I patched the burn hole with an iron-on fabric patch and now you can't even tell there was once a burn hole in the bottom of the pant leg cuff. I bought a second pair of these work pants because they are excellent work pants. The optional knee pads are not very expensive but are light-weight, fit perfectly in the 2-level knee pad pockets and they protect your knee properly so the optional Caterpillar Knee Pads are worth ever penny. VERY COMFORTABLE WORK PANTS OVERALL.
