SAVE YOUR NIPPLES
The flange on the left is the maymom and the one on the right is the standard Ameda flange. I use medela bottles with my ameda purely yours pump btw. These are a lifesaver. I exclusively pump due to my son's tongue tie and I have been pumping since my baby was around 3 weeks. I suffered through so much pain and soreness from using the standard Ameda flanges, which was my understanding were the right size for me since there was plenty of room around my nipple and wasn't rubbing the sides (much) BUT my areola would get sucked in and I would a swollen ring around my areola. After pumping I would end up in so much pain that I didn't want my newborn anywhere near my boobs when holding him.I had purchased the bigger flanges that ameda makes but it seems like the more I would size up, the bigger my nipples would swell. After 2 months of pain, I finally gave in and ordered these. OH MY they make a HUGE difference ! Before,it would take me like15-20 minutes to make 2-3 oz on each side. Now it takes me like 10. It's amazing! As far as the flanges themselves, they are about the same quality as the originals but clearer. There's a small hole near where you put the bottles but I don't notice a difference in suction. I use my own valves because the ones that came with the flanges seem stiff.Definately coat your flanges with coconut or olive oil though to help your nips with gliding in the tunnel. I also suggest using a plastic spoon to remove the valves to avoid damaging them.I recommend these to anyone who thinks their original ameda flanges are a bit too big. Pumping is hard enough, give these a try. Good luck!

Poor fit
Update 30 Sept - I've increased one star for this product. After 3 months of breastfeeding my breast is not as engorged as before. So I took these out to try again and they work much better now. I'm now able to use these as backups. I really like theThese flanges fit me at the nipples but the part that goes around the breast is significant smaller than the Ameda ones. Resulting in a poor grasp of breast tissue and very easily leaks milk especially when using with a pumping bra. I requested to return the product and the company gave me a partial refund and told me to keep the flanges. I don't know if they are of much use to me since they don't fit but it's better than the whole 20 bucks going to waste. I would be careful to purchase these if you have small nipples but large breast like me as the flange probably won't fit you well and the company doesn't have the best return policy. FYI I became a 32DDD after giving birth.Picture shows the Ameda standard 25mm flange on the left and the Maymom 22mm on the right.

Works with Spectra S2 Pump
I bought this 19mm duck bill to use with my Spectra S2 pump as I was given the standard Ameda duckbill and accessories in the hospital to use with their Ameda pump. The standard size is way too big for me and I’ve suffer swollen nipples for the past week (I gave birth on 3/21/18) as it took nipple and Areola with each suction even when the vacuum/cycle was at 3 or 4. I like using this duckbill over the Spectra which standard is bigger at 28mm and I can use this many standard breast milk storage bottles without needing a converter.I got the item today (3/28/18) and immediately sterile it and use it and was very happy that I experience no pain or suction of my areola. I was a bit skeptical because reading some comments it states about the quality and how the areola area was much smaller than that of the Ameda original. While this is smaller than the Ameda, I think those of us with smaller nipples can appreciate it. It covers my areola well so I have no complaints on it’s smaller structure. I cannot attest to its quality as more time is needed to use the product but I was extremely happy that I no longer have pain after pumping. This is definitely going to make a pumping experience much better and faster as I was surprised at the amount pumped and how well it removed my engorgement where the original Ameda and Spectra parts failed me.I definitely recommend purchasing this for your Ameda or Spectra pump!

I definitely recommend getting spare parts
I definitely recommend getting spare parts. The flanges are good just so you don't have to wash the originals every single time. And the little part where the milk drips out into the bottles (don't know the name of that part, obviously) are essential. My pump dropped dramatically in productivity one day and I was panicky wondering if it was the pump or my supply. Then I realized that one of those parts had a little tear so I swapped it out for one of my replacement ones and my pump immediately started working again. I was so glad to have those on hand! That little piece is essential to the pump, and I think I tore it in a vigorous washing once. It's nice to have spares.

Does it fit Ameda?
Does it fit Ameda? Yes. Does it seal tightly? No. Does it still work? Eh...Here’s the deal. When I went back to work my little one stopped nursing and I had to start exclusively pumping. If that is your situation you are better off sticking with OEM parts. However, if you just pump occasionally (say your helping your sister paint her house and the baby is with your mom and your boobs hurt), then yes. These parts will suffice.Oh of important note, the valves fit PERFECTLY on my Lanishoh hand pump! So this purchase was not a total loss :)

Very brittle plastic
Thanks to the poster who noticed a crack in their flange. I checked my flanges when they arrived and found a crack in one as well. I am returning the broken item to Amazon and ordered another kit. It arrived today in excellent condition. I really like how clear the flanges are and I'm glad to have a pair of flanges that fit! These flanges get the milk out faster and with a lot less pain than the 25 mm flanges I was using before.Edit: Sadly I've had to lower my rating of these flanges. They have cracked in the 12th day I've owned them. I do pump quite a lot but I would expect this product to last longer than 12 days. Really unfortunate as I found them very useful before one cracked.

Waste of money
Waste of money. I needed smaller flanges than the standard 25mm that came with my Ameda pump. I ordered these, they came quickly but that was the only good thing. They appear to fit the cap, but clearly don't have a true seal. I can actually hear a small 'sss' of the air escaping and I do not get anything close to proper suction. Wish I bought directly through Ameda.

Highly Recommended for Ameda Finesse Pump
This product is fantastic! When I left the NICU, the LT told me that 25mm was my size. Basically from day 1 pumping really hurt, and after 5 months of it, I almost called it quits from pumping for good.My baby had thrush so naturally I thought I had it too because of the pain and redness from my nipples.Turns out, I just needed a smaller size. I searched all over for these and I am happy I went with them. They fit nicely with my Ameda Finesse pump. I am finally able to comfortably pump.

Great quality, worth the money!
These are great! I was using the flange and additional inserts that came with my Ameda pump. I could barely see my nipple to see if I was positioned properly and how the flow was. It was also a pain having to wash the extra inserts every time. These inserts are easy to see through but still feel like good quality material. The thread onto the bottles took a little finessing but I was able to get them on and get a good seal.

Perfect for smaller sized nipples
SO AMAZING. I've bought every single size flange that Ameda puts out and they were all too big. These are perfect for smaller sized nipples that the flanges the pump comes with are too small for.

Very cheap quality
When i seen that the company MAYMOM offered a non-insert 28 inch flange size for my Ameda pump, i was very excited! This morning ( only 2 days after receiving my flanges), i noticed that one of them has a huge crack in the inside of the tube..I’ve had all my other Ameda flanges for years that i’ve used with previous babies and they are still in perfect condition. I am so very disappointed and would like my money back
