makes a great chest of drawers. good deal for $20.
found a hon 600 series 4 drawer x 42" for 20 bucks on craigslist. didn't come with a key. Had to disable the single-drawer lock linkage in order to efficiently load socks and shorts, which was a bit of a pain. Thin gauge steel but appears to have high tensile strength.disappointment: the rear panels made some rattling noise after closing a drawer. I had to screw a sheet of drywall to the back to silence itdisappointment #2: sort of flimsydisappointment #3: construction appears basically non-serviceable, unless you know how to effectively remove and replace rivets.that being said, it's got super smooth action. I can almost guarantee that my dresser is more efficient than yours.
