I like these narrower attachments for cleaning up construction debris. The one that came with my shop vac got stepped on and broke in half so I ordered this one as a replacement.What I especially like about it is the slightly raised edges which prevent it from getting sucked to the floor. Others have said that this prevents it from being able to work right, but that are wrong. Why on earth would you want the vac attachment to stick to the floor? I want it to be able to slide on the floor, while still having a small gap in the front or back - depending on how you tilt it - so that it can stick up the debris. My old one was flat on the bottom, would get vacuumed to the floor and SKREEEEK along the floor as you tried to slide it. This is a much better solution. People who think this is a defect in design are crazy. If that's you, and you like your vacuum attachments to stick to the floor, making your job harder, take a file and file the sides straight and you're in business. It's plastic after all!Also, this isn't thin, cheap plastic. It's just as thick as the more expensive attachments I saw at home depot.

This is a good product but I wish that it was a little wider and was completely flat. I had an accessory that came with my Dewalt vacuum but after having to destroy my basement due to mold, I think it got thrown away in the shuffle. This product isn't listed incorrectly because the pictures show exactly what it is.I do find that the suction power isn't as much as my other was because it doesn't get completely flat. I bought this because of all the others products that have bristles but I didn't want those since I'm using it mainly for leaves, dirt, dust, and such thats likely going to get stuck in those.I'll use this product but will probably still be looking for another that works for what I want.

I bought this to replace a similar attachment that came with my Rigid shop vac. The little "feet" on the four corners of the intake had ground down over the years and it was sticking to the floor when I tried to use it. The new one is a close match for the old one, although the plastic looks a little thinner. For reviewers who are complaining about it not being flush with the surface, that's how it's supposed to work. There are other attachments that are designed to make a tighter seal, if that's what you need. Pick the right tool for the job.

After rubbing my old one on the floor for years it finally wore down. This new one has added back life to my shop vac cause its high enough off the floor to suck up water as it should.

This floor nozzle is a great replacement for original nozzle (which is no longer available) It seems a little thinner than the original but it works great. The fit on the vacuum hose extension(s) is perfect. I have been using it in the garage for woodworking cleanup.

The design prevents this tool from effective pick up.. I have a pretty powerful wet/dry vac but this tool just doesn't do the job. The way it is designed seems to be the issue, as in the picture, the edges are lifted and there is a gap along the opening so it seems to prevent effective suction, even with a pretty strong shop vac.

I broke the attachment to my shop vac the attachment got stuck and a put my feet on it to release it from the hose and broke it. I purchased this to replace it. It cheap, thin plastic and I can't pick up a dime off a hardwood floor with a 6 hp shop vac, it doesn't make a seal on contact. Stay away from this company they make cheap as hell parts. I just ate $11.00 trusting these jerks. I didn't kown compaines like this are still in business.

Purchases this for a Craftman vac. It fits well but it isn't the quality of the original one. This one is small, thinner and lower quality.

It seems pretty sturdy, only used for 10 min. It is alot smaller then i thought but it works better then original one as it is twice as wide and no suction.For the price its a good deal.The product is about 8-1/2 " wide.
