Does Actually Work
Im a mechanic of 20 yrs. Work on everything from lawn mowers to semi trucks. I am always skeptical of "snake oil" stiff like this. But i daily drive a TDI VW with 300k+ miles on it so its got blowby and im sure rings are carbon packed. Took a chance on this.....it actually did idle smoother and run better afterwards. And could be in my head but id say there was a smidge less blowby. I mean just enough to tell. Def seemed oil was blacker than normal coming out so it must have loosened something. The deal clincher was a coworker tried in his newer V6 camaro which are known for carbon sludge buildup.....and he said it absolutely idles smooth at stoplights now as before it would studder. And he is pretty particular w his car. So it does seem to work.

Nothing but the best
BG is the top of the line for auto additives. I’ve been using BG personally for 20 years since I got my first car at 16. They aren’t cheap and they are proud of what they charge but for your vehicle it’s well worth it. Take care of your vehicle and avoid problems. Simple maintenance is the key. This truly is a case of you get what you pay for. My turbo kills my oil and it’s a mess but this brings the ecoboost back to life. In my case I use it every 2nd or 3rd oil change followed up with royal purple. My explorer is going on 200k and runs like a champ.

Engine/ Gas Milage Improvement
If your engine actually has an issue that’s related to ring packing or sludge. This will help. Follow the instructions. I see a lot of comments where people over rev the engine. Most likely this stuff thins the oil and lower viscosity. Follow instructions. Get engine to temperature , pour in oil fill, Idle at 1200rpm drain after ( Check Manufacturer website) X mins. This was designed and produced for audis. I had been changing my oil and filter every 3.5k miles . I still developed blow by and ring packing. 2015 Audi RS5 50k miles. Avg 165-170 miles to Empty light. 1st fill up after treatment 195 miles to empty light. 2nd fill up 225 miles to empty light. At this point i’ve never avg above 200miles per tank in 30k miles. So there was a clear and immediate improvement. Ive also gone ahead and added “BG 44k” My process was to drain old oil and change filter. Add new oil and filter first , then run to temperature. Add in BG EPS run for 10 mins at 1200rpm and drain. Oil came out a dark black. spend the extra time and money. Use fresh oil and filter if it’s the first time using this product.

Very Happy With Results
I have a 2011 3.5 V6 Ford Taurus Limited non-turbo FWD with 137,500 miles on it. The engine has been meticulously maintained and I noticed a slight lifter tic at idle. I added a can of the BG EPR and drove on the highway varying my rpm from 2,000 to 2,600 rpm for about a half hour. Mind you, the engine has no sludge or deposit buildup anywhere. (Valve and timing chain covers were removed for replacement of the internal water pump, timing set and an improved oil pump so I know what the condition inside the engine is like.) Anyway, after driving for about 30 minutes I arrived back home. No more lifter tick and what little varnish that was visible looking through the oil filler cap is gone. I changed the oil like normal and have been driving the car for a week now and between the BG EPR and 44K fuel system cleaner the car runs smooth as silk. I'm very happy with my purchase and quick delivery. I will definitely buy these products again.

The best stuff on the market!
It’s BG. Enough said. Pro Tip I learned the hard way. If you’re laying on your back changing your own oil, just be advised that this stuff will turn your old oil into a water like substance, and it will SPLASH ALL OVER THE PLACE and create a terrible mess. Just be prepared for that.

Seems to have worked
Son has an '09 Accord v6 with the cylinder deactivation. Cylinder 3 throwing misfire codes and not firing. Apparently fairly common issue related with the cylinder deactivation causing rings to stick with carbon. Dealer indicated would be $4k fix to re-ring the back bank of cylinders. Suggested we try bg products to try to help or possibly buy time. Used BG EPR during 2 back to back oil changes several months apart to try to solve. Almost a year later and car still running with no codes yet. Think it is a good product for cleaning the crankcase aside from regular oil changes.

I think it worked well lr3
There’s no way to know, it works internally. I needed two bottles for my LR3. I did the procedure and drained the oil. The motor seems quieter and smooth, but who knows might be placebo, idk didn’t hurt the car and gave me peace of mind.
