Sugar Paste Organic Waxing for Bikini Area and Brazilian + Applicator and Set of Gloves for Sugaring

Now, I am someone who regularly gets bikini waxes (every 3 months, more frequently during summertime). For the past two years, I have been getting sugaring as it is SO MUCH better for my sensitive skin and, honestly, I find it less painful than hard wax. When quarantine began, I decided I would try my own hand at sugaring. I got the kit (as opposed to just the wax) for the addition of an applicator. I watched the video on the Sugaring NYC website, where the demonstrator uses the applicator (instead of gloves, as directed on the product page on Amazon). I thought that seemed a lot cleaner and simpler, so I took the same approach. I find using the applicator MUCH easier than gloves. I could do without those pink gloves -- they were probably a little too small for my hands and/or very thin, since they broke almost immediately after putting on. It takes some patience and practice, but I've been really impressed with the lack of hair growth where I sugared a month ago. I would say that the tub will probably last me two "sessions" (legs, underarms, bikini line), but I also probably have more to learn on how to conserve the most product. Would recommend if you are up for the challenge!

The product is easy to use and does a great job with removing the hair. BUT this is for sure something you have to practice with before hand. I would also recommend a better applicator, the one it comes with is okay but too flimsy.

I feel like I need to use it more to get the best hair removal. Played around and used a small amount. It definitely removed hair easy. Make sure to keep it in a cool place if it’s too soft it won’t remove much

I purchased this product to try sugaring for the first time. I found it to be the most effective product at removing hair long-term with the least amount of pain on highly sensitive skin. I have psoriasis and eczema and therefore am unable to shave my legs with a razor because I develop horrible rashes that last for an extended amount of time. I have tried dipilatory creams, but they stink and the results are very short-lived. I have used both strip wax and hard wax. I find them both to be messy, temperamental and requiring a medium learning curve. Using this sugaring product, I was able to successfully wax my armpits, my bikini area and my legs by myself with almost no pain. There was virtually no redness afterward and any redness that did occur subsided within 10 minutes. I found the product to be easy to use after watching the video on the product's website. The wax can be used several times before a new piece is needed, making it more economical. I am a total convert!

I like everything about this sugar paste. It's organic no chemicals and it leaves your skin nice and soft for weeks . I learn how to use the sugar paste watching videos online and now I do my wife and my own sugar depilation needs . It's a little tricky at the beginning but by your third or fourth time you will be a pro. Don't give up!

Lots of these reviews seem to say that this is a beginner friendly kit but it’s really not. I really wanted to like this product but it was just so difficult to use it wasn’t practical. No matter what temperature you use it at it just adheres to your skin and won’t come off. The few times it does come off as shown it doesn’t remove any hair. There were no instructions so I had to watch many instructional videos. The paste creates a horrible mess. On your skin and around the area you are working in. The force needed to actually pull it off flings the sticky paste all over. The gloves were of no use as the paste quickly stuck all the lingers together with no hope of separation. While the paste is water soluble it takes quite a while to get it off if anything it touches. I spent ten minutes just trying to get it to wash off of my leg after multiple failed hair removal attempts. It’s your decision to make but in my opinion it’s not worth the time, money, and effort.

A couple of things: - Don’t do this if you’re impatient and easily irritated/irritable - This isn’t beginner friendly. Watch a YouTube video on how to do this, but with someone who can help you rip it off. - Have something to bite on. This is painful because you’re pulling a bunch of roots/breaking some hairs. Quick verbal profanity/yelps are inevitable. - Don’t do this by yourself. You will hesitate or rip too slowly, and the wax will stretch instead of getting off. You’ll thank your partner for saving you time than stuck on the same area for an hour. - Be extra careful to not make a mess of sugar wax everywhere. It’s gonna be messy. - Make sure you don’t have a water bill to worry about. You’re gonna need a roll of paper to towel to dispose a couple of pieces of wax before washing your card to reuse. - Get an ice pack w/ towel (Avoid frostbite) and place it on completed waxed area. Don’t apply deodorant immediately after waxing, it’s gonna sting. Remember, this is painful and you made this decision to do this process.

I have been looking for a sugaring paste that is good and I must say this product is one of the best products I have tried out so far. I definitely recommend it if you wax by hand and not with strips. I am not sure how the product is when you use strips as I find by hand is more efficient in my opinion.

Loved the packaging however the sugaring was too strong and wouldn’t not stick to skin or remove hair easily. I’ve been doing this for years and I am very comfortable and aware of how to use it. Unfortunately not best quality.
